Nestled on the stunning Roseland Peninsula, this beautiful homestay for eight lies in the countryside with only the owner's house and one neighbouring house nearby, offering peaceful seclusion, whilst Pendower Beach is just a short stroll away - the best of both worlds! There's plenty to see and do on the sub-tropical south Cornish coast, from Falmouth to Fowey, so you'll never be lost for things to do.

At this rate, you have use of the beautiful upstairs master bedroom with sumptuous en suite, complete with a romantic, freestanding bath, along with the heavenly library room promising a large Smart TV for those relaxing retreat moments. Living
You'll find some seating in the kitchen and dining area where you can gaze out over the garden whilst sitting by the fire, whilst on the first floor there's a TV room with library wall, complete with large Smart TV with full Sky package, yellow sofa and grey armchair - the perfect spot for catching up on your favourite boxset or film.
In addition, there's a boot room and cloakroom which offers lots of storage for walking boots, wellies, coats and any beach paraphernalia you may have with you.
Eating
The kitchen and dining area is simply divine with floor-to-ceiling glass windows and windows in the ceiling to make this a bright, airy room ideal for entertaining. At the heart of the kitchen there's a Rangemaster Professional with two ovens and a gas hob set into it's own mantel. With dark blue and waxed oak bespoke handmade cupboards and white quartz worktops, there's plenty of room plus a large kitchen island with breakfast bar with bar stools. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need to rustle up feasts, including a large double fronted Fisher Paykel fridge with water dispenser and drawer freezer underneath with ice making machine, dishwasher and all the other essentials including the all-important Nespresso coffee machine.
The large dining table adjacent to the kitchen easily seats eight, whilst glass doors lead out on to the terrace should you wish to eat outside, or simply let the reviving Cornish air drift through. A SONOS sound system ensures you have music to accompany you, whilst the flickering gas burning stove offers cosy heat.
In addition, there's a washing machine and tumble dryer in the utility room.
Sleeping and bathing
There are four stunning bedrooms to choose from, three of which are en suite.
The master bedroom has a sumptuous super king bed and is a wonderfully spacious bedroom, with huge, vaulted ceiling with exposed beams. With dual-aspect windows, this room benefits from plenty of light and it also has a wonderful leather sofa (perfect for cuddles), massive bespoke in-built wardrobe and chest of drawers for storage and a Smart TV. It also has a stunning en suite complete with freestanding bath, walk in shower and double basins - we just love the floor to ceiling glass windows with views over the rolling countryside.
There are three further bedrooms, two of them have zip-and-link beds meaning they can be made up as twin beds (perfect for children or friends) or a super king size bed. One has pretty dual aspect windows, grey head rests, built in bespoke wardrobe, chest of drawers and occasional chair. It also has an en suite shower room with double basins. The other has a dark headboard, bedside tables with drawers and a dressing table and built in wardrobe. It also has an en-suite shower room with double basins.
The final bedroom has a king size double bed and is super-pretty with a wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables.
In addition, there's a downstairs bathroom as well.
All of the beds come swathed in luxurious bedding, linens, cushions and throws to ensure a blissful nights' sleep, whilst the bath and shower rooms have heated rails to keep towels warm and fluffy.
Outdoor space
The garden is just lovely with large lawned area and a terrace complete with a teak table and chairs to seat up up twelve. There's a Big Egg barbeque for alfresco dining whilst in the utility room you'll find a range of garden games including boules, cricket and football. Children (and adults!) are welcome to use the area beyond the estate fencing to play outdoor games.
Parking
There is plenty of private parking to the left of the property.
Babies and children
Babies and children are most welcome at The Granary. A travel cot, stair gate, highchair and fire guard can be provided on request.
Dogs
Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome at The Granary. Please note there is no enclosed area in the garden so you will need to keep your dog(s) on a lead whilst in the grounds of The Granary. Please note, there is an additional fee per dog, per week or short break.
WiFi
The Granary has WiFi so if you need to stay in touch with the outside world you can.
In the Area
Set in one of the prettiest parts of Cornwall, you'll be spoilt for choice for things to do and places to eat on the Roseland Peninsula. Close by you'll find The New Inn in Veryan and The Roseland Inn in Philleigh - both great pubs - and The Nare Hotel at Carne Beach for fabulous dining. Make sure to try the culinary delights of The Hidden Hut at Portcurnick beach, whist if you carry on, you'll find Portscatho, a lovely seaside village, and St Mawes - a great spot for some lunch at either The Idle Rocks or the Tresanton, both of which are excellent with views over the harbour. From here you can catch the ferry across to the bustling seaside town of Falmouth for great shops and the must-visit Maritime Museum. Garden-lovers will enjoy Trelissick Gardens near the King Harry Ferry or The Lost Gardens of Heligan, whilst if you need a spot of city life, head to Truro with its wide selection of independent shops, lovely cathedral, and great restaurants. For something a little different, head to Philleigh Way cookery school where you can learn to cook everything from fish and seafood to a proper Cornish pasty and clotted cream!
