Living, eating and dining

As soon as you step into the living room, your eyes drift to the incredible floor to ceiling windows that look out across a patchwork of Cornish fields. Three oh-so-sumptuous Dusk sofas gather together round the TV and windows, providing a peaceful spot to socialise or simply sit and watch clouds drift by. A flickering wood burning stove sits in the corner casting a rosy glow over the room, while the calming warm tones that run through the soft furnishings and gorgeous stone wall create a wonderfully welcoming hue. Take a moment to recline with a glass of something special or take your morning coffee out onto the terrace through the French doors for a moment of serenity.

An open-plan kitchen, dining, and snug craft a truly special space for everyone to enjoy. Delicately neutral tones sweep through the kitchen, accented with earthy jars and warm woods to create an open and welcoming space. A beautiful island offers additional counter space, as well as three rustic bar stools, making socialising in the kitchen an utter dream. Fully-equipped with everything you need, the kitchen features an AGA Masterchef with an induction hob, separate drinks fridge, and all-important Nespresso machine for mornings gilded with smooth roasts. Sitting between the kitchen and the snug, a large wooden dining table is the perfect place to share meals and memories, with stunning wicker overhead lighting and tree-lined views beyond the window. For quiet moments warmed by the golden glow of the wood burning stove, the snug is hard to resist. Sink into the sumptuous green velvet Cotswold Company sofa and flick on the wall-mounted TV, or drift into your holiday read.

Sleeping & Bathing

Promising the sweetest of dreams, Stellan's four beautiful bedrooms beckon for the deepest of sleeps.

Warm neutrals flow through the first bedroom, crafting a serene space in which to unwind. Honey-rich woods tie the stunning king size bed, bedside tables, and chest of drawers together, while sumptuous scatter cushions and pillows promise a toasty place to lay your head. A selection of houseplants add rich green tones to the room, while the window overlooking the sprawling countryside beyond ensures every morning starts with paradisiacal views.

Bedroom two continues the harmonious hues with a gentle mix of soft greens and dove greys, with a panelled wall behind the bed tying the room together. A sleek metal frame king size bed beckons for a night of deep rest, while the rustic wooden bedside tables and dresser hark back to the farmhouse's roots, crafting an alluring blend of country and contemporary. Sink into the deeply plush square cushions with your favourite book or turn your gaze to the window for a peek at the balmy day to come.

Moving into bedroom three, a bucolic blend of smooth greens and bespoke furnishings craft a harmonious space perfect for repose. Rich, wooden bedside tables offer a place to rest your morning coffee, while the king size bed looks out across gently swaying treetops; mornings at Stellan are deliciously unhurried.

A gorgeous, exposed, stone wall frames the sun-soaked window in bedroom four, drawing the eye when sitting in the oh-so-cosy double bed, which sits nestled in a wonderfully snug nook. Soft greys permeate the room, with a rustic rattan chair and wooden dresser adding a flicker of country charm. The fourth bedroom enjoys its own en suite, with a toilet, shower, and sleek, panelled sink. A large wooden mirror extends the space, while a pretty, potted plant adds a wash of Mediterranean colour to the room.

Full of calming greys and a hint of green from beautiful plants, the tranquil bathroom on the ground floor promises refreshing moments in the freestanding bath or tiled shower. Double vanity sinks with marble accents ensure you have everything you need at your fingertips, making for slow mornings and restorative evenings winding down.

Upstairs, a second family bathroom waits to lull you into a relaxed reverie, with earthy green hues and a deliciously beckoning bathtub. As with all the bathrooms at Stellan, heated towel rails ensure the warmest, fluffiest towels. The window boasts views over a criss-cross of fields, while the shower enjoys a built-in shelf for easy access to the heady scents of Aesop cleansers.

Outdoor space

Enveloped by emerald-rich trees and rolling Cornish countryside, Stellan enjoys a spectacular rural position, with secluded outdoor spaces to match. The open plan kitchen and dining room opens out into a lovely lawned area, stretching down to the sheltered wooden pergola where the bubbling hot tub awaits.

Relax on the wooden benches and enjoy a moment of solitude in the Cornish countryside, or watch your canine companions play on the lawn. To the side, a well-positioned terrace overlooks the surrounding fields, with an outdoor table and chairs promising many sun-soaked meals. Gather round the BBQ for deliciously memorable moments and soak up the charming surrounds that whisper of slow-moving days that roll into magical nights under a canopy of stars.

We know how gorgeous our retreats are, but don’t just take our word for it – here’s what previous guests say about Stellan:

Loved the house and it was great being able to have the dogs with us

Another fabulous property, we were so sad to leave.

We have just returned from a week here and would highly recommend it. The accommodation is excellent and the views amazing. The place was clean and tidy and there was everything you needed in the farmhouse. All rooms are furnished to an excellent standard and the hamper of goodies and fresh flowers was a really nice touch. The hot tub was a lovely addition and we enjoyed watching the sun set over the fields. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to stay for a family holiday

Beautiful house in the most perfect location. I could sit and look at the view every day. We made good use of the lovely hottub. Ted the dog was a bonus. I'd have liked to take him home with me

Lovely location, great views of the countryside and very friendly and accommodating hosts. A great venue to reconnect with family and friends.

Stellan is a beautifully decorated home with incredible views of the Cornish countryside. It is a real escape with everything you need to get away from it all. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and eating our meals on the deck, playing boules on the grass with the cows and sheep in the field below. It was helped by a perfect week of hot sunshine, but the house would be cosy and warm in winter. A luxurious stay with the most beautiful bathroom ever. Just try to avoid meeting another car on the single track roads! A great destination for a gathering with family and friends.

Our retreat, ‘Stellan’ was above and beyond our expectations. The house itself was luxurious, comfortable and spacious with everything we needed in it and the location was outstanding! Rural, quiet, tranquil, heavenly! All you could hear was birdsong and the occasional bleating sheep. The hot tub was the added bonus and we spent many an hour in there enjoying time with our son and daughter. A truly wonderful week away. Thank you!

This is a beautiful farmhouse in rural Cornwall, hosted by a fabulous local family. The house is beautiful with the perfect balance of an old farmhouse finished with luxury modern interior, set in the middle of the Cornish rolling hills you could not ask for a more tranquil getaway. Perfect for a family, with dogs - we had a fabulous time and would go back again in a heartbeat!

A fairytale place to spend a holiday with family and friends in Cornwall. The high-class interiors of the house and the area of outstanding beauty is perfect to feel relaxed and unwind. Surrounded by amazing flora and fauna it is a tranquil paradise for everyone who treasures mother nature. Stellan, you have our hearts.

We booked this for a girls retreat and were not disappointed. The house is so beautiful, they really have thought if everything. The living area was the perfect spot, for our breath work session we booked and yoga class, the back drop of rolling hills and countryside was just gorgeous. The little dog from the neighbouring farm that came to say hello, super cute. The hot tub is a great addition. Thank you for a fabulous stay x x x

This is a truly beautiful farmhouse. Well worth a visit if you want to get away from it all. Lovely welcome hamper and additional cookies. The host also provided birthday balloons for our celebrations and the extra touches like flowers may it all that extra special. We didn’t want to leave!

If you want peace and quiet in a beautiful relaxed setting.. this is definitely the house for you. It’s homely, comfortable…spa like .. and a view you could not tire of

Our stay at Stellan was a delight. The farmhouse and surroundings were simply heaven. The bathrooms were out of this world and the lovely products supplied to use during our stay were so luxurious, it really made bathtime feel like a spa experience.

Our dogs loved their stay but we did not have to comprise on luxury which is usually the case when you take your dogs on holiday. The door at the bottom of the stairs made it easy for us to control and contain the dogs in the downstairs space when we went up to bed.

The living room is a joy in rain and shine, we could have spent the whole week in this property and have been very happy.

We met the owner in the courtyard, she was so friendly but equally they respected our privacy which means a lot as we wanted to wind down and spend time with our daughters and the dogs.

Our two daughters loved the hot tub and spent many hours making the most of it.

The kitchen is well stocked , with all the things you need. The underfloor heating was very effective so we only lit the fire twice but I’d image in colder months the log fires would be a welcome addition.

Thank you also for the lovely welcome basket , such a lovely treat and it added to the WOW factor we got when we walked into the property.

Overall we loved our holiday to this special place and will be back as soon as we can, thank you! Emma, Mark, Victoria, Nia and of course our three dogs, Alfie, Willow & Ruby x

The house was truly stunning! Amazing decoration throughout with absolutely stunning views. The location is incredible for amazing local walks with incredible scenery. We had a truly wonderful time and it felt like a home away from home. Would highly recommend!!

The Stellan is an absolute amazing property. It's the perfect "home away from home", super clean, well equipped and just so peaceful. The owners are just the kindest people and overall its been one of best experiences I had. Will return as soon as possible and can recommend this place without hesitation.

The location and outlook surrounding Stellan was exactly what we were looking for. The home is beautiful & sumptuous, very warm & cosy. It was peaceful & tranquil, we loved spending time on the property just as much we loved exploring Cornwall.

Fabulous recently refurbished interior with stunning living room and beautiful views. Wonderful secluded and peaceful location with doorstep walks and only 20 mins drive from North and South Cornwall coasts. Great choice to relax and chill or adventure out and explore with the dog. Couldn't have felt more comfortable and privileged to be the first guests to enjoy. Would return to Stellan in a heartbeat.
