Once a millhouse, Roundhouse has been lovingly converted into a lavish holiday homestay - perfect for families or larger groups looking for complete luxury and panoramic coastal views.

Living

The Roundhouse boasts two living spaces; the Milling Barn and a cozy seating area by the log burning fireplace. The Milling Barn retains much of its traditional character with the oak beams and flooring, but most definitely plays second fiddle to the floor-to-ceiling windows and those unbelievable views of the North Cornish coast. Oversized linen sofas, and comfortable chairs are a great place to unwind. There is a built in surround sound theatre system, a Smart television to catch up on your latest Netflix or Amazon box set, plus a Blu-ray player with a varierty of films to choose from. The attention to detail in this property is exemplary. The French doors from the Milling Barn lead out to a private terrace with surrounding Cornish stone hedges (walls), a floodlight grassed area perfect for alfresco drinks or dining.

The Milling Barn leads into the second living space, an open-plan room featuring a large Scan wood burning stove and sofa. Here there is a separate Smart television with Freeview and access to streaming services, plus Bluetooth and a DVD player to cater for different family viewing preferences. There is a desk suitable for laptop use.

Eating

A large farmhouse style kitchen with granite work surfaces, hand crafted oak units, a butler sink, dishwasher and all the mod-con appliances and more - a Nespresso coffee machine (with the coffee assortment waiting) and a breakfast bar built into the central island unit. Large bi-fold doors open onto a large patio, with panoramic views across the north Atlantic ocean. While away afternoons on the terrace, sipping your favourite tipple and watch the sun descend on the glistening water. The attention to detail is evident from the T.G. Green Cornishware housed on the antique shelves to the original artwork on the walls. A separate utility area is next to the kitchen where there is a washing machine and tumble dryer and extra boot room space (which once housed the donkeys who drove the mill).

Sleeping

Enjoy restful nights and peaceful surroundings in Roundhouse's four en-suite bedrooms; plush and stylish, each room features super king-sized beds with fresh white linen.

Bedroom 1 has a super king-size bed and the added charm of windowed dove nesting boxes that look out to sea, as well as a French roll-top bath from which you can enjoy a sea view. An accessible bedroom on the ground floor is ideal for less mobile guests. This room and two others upstairs are flexible as twin or double rooms.

Bedroom 2 with zip and link beds (6' double or twin beds) and en suite shower room. Bedroom 3 with zip and link beds (6' double or twin beds) and en suite bathroom. Bedroom 4 with zip and link beds (6' double or twin beds) and a wet room, on the ground floor.

Bathing

All of the bedrooms are en-suite with either a bathroom or a wetroom. The master bedroom has a roll-top bath in the bedroom as well as a separate shower room. The double room on the ground floor has a wet room with wide access for guests who may have limited mobility.

Garden

Roundhouse has three terraces, a wraparound wooden decked area surrounding the Milling Barn, with a raised terrace outside of the kitchen too. You will also find a separate terrace and lawned area with a table and chairs. which seats eight more than comfortably. A gas fired barbecue and floodlights make the outside area as perfect and impressive for al fresco evening dining. If you fancy a stroll, the beautiful surfing beach of Trebarwith Strand isn't far by foot.
