Living and eating
The main living space is large and spacious, with the seating area and large wood burning stove at one end and the kitchen at the other. The kitchen, with gorgeous dark blue cabinets and sleek wooden worksurface, holds everything you need to create romantic meals for your loved one, whilst the sweet dark wooden dining table is made for long, loving dinners together. The living area has a cosy velvet sofa and eye-catching bronze coffee table where you can snuggle up together in front of the flickering fire and watch a film or two, or maybe listen to your favourite tunes on the Sonos sound system. Alternatively, on warmer days open the balcony and relax outside, gazing out over the fields and countryside beyond - what better way to unwind.
Sleeping
The simple, country-style bedroom is made for luxurious lie-ins where morning alarms are firmly switched off! The super king size bed, made locally from reclaimed wood, is super-comfy whilst a chaise lounge adds a touch of glamour. Stable doors open out onto a balcony where you're met by a verdant canopy of trees. The vaulted ceiling adds height and space to the room and Velux windows make it an airy, light retreat to escape to at the end of the day.
Bathing
There's a shower room with large flower head shower plus a heated rail to keep towels warm and fluffy.
Outdoor space
The sheltered balcony is ideal for lazy afternoons whilst there's also deckchairs, a firepit and a barbeque for a spot of alfresco dinner in the garden surrounded by trees.
Tucked amongst the trees, you'll find the gorgeous wood-fired Eco hot tub where you can relax with just the sounds of the woods accompanying you. The tub will be filled and the fire will be laid for you, so all you'll need to is light the match!

In the Area
Being deep in the Devonian countryside, this is an ideal spot for nature-lovers and explorers, with walks a-plenty (Dartmoor National Park is literally on your doorstep) or cycling if you prefer along the paths, tracks and hills. Make sure to visit picturesque Canonteign Falls, a Victorian folly with England's highest manmade waterfall of nearly 70 meters, whilst the city of Exeter is a must with its incredible cathedral. Totnes is lovely too, with a real alternative vibe and fab independent shops. Another great thing to try locally is the steam railway which runs from Totnes to Buckfastleigh.To fully embrace the beauty of nature and reconnect with your inner zen, explore a range of local wellness experiences, from tranquil SUP yoga sessions at Canonteign Falls to soothing wild saunas, located just a short drive from Bodhi Barn.
