With flexible sleeping arrangements, this is a perfect getaway whether you're a family, friends or a couple seeking a little more space, and with baby equipment available and a dog welcomed, no one is left out!

Set just a mile from the pretty market town of Chipping Campden, Shepherds Cottage is wonderfully located to explore the best of the Cotswolds, whether its exploring National Trust treasures such as Hidcote Manor, woodland walks at Batsford Arboretum or discovering pretty towns and villages such as Moreton-in-Marsh, Broadway and Bourton-on-the-Water.

The beautiful sitting room is the perfect space to retire to at the end of a day's exploring, with stunning oak floorboards, large inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove, sumptuous sofa and two armchairs. During winter months, curl up in front of the flickering fire, whilst in warmer weather open the French doors that lead out onto the Cotswolds stone patio and secluded garden. For entertainment, there's a Smart TV with Amazon Prime and Netflix, whilst a smart speaker is available to play your favourite tunes and create a playlist to your holiday.

Cooking is a dream in the wonderful country kitchen, with pristine white quartz worktops, Belfast sink, and dove grey cupboards housing everything you could possibly need to rustle up meals. With a stunning Everhot electric range oven, there's also a dishwasher, fridge and freezer so you're all set. In addition, there's a beautiful stone floor and lovely beamed ceiling.

For dining, the farmhouse kitchen table easily seats four people.

Take the gorgeous oak staircase up to a galleried landing where you'll discover two delightful bedrooms to choose from.

The king size bedroom has a gorgeous vaulted and beamed ceiling, making the room oh-so light and airy, whilst the mullion window is simply stunning. The second bedroom has a delightful super king-sized zip and link bed meaning it can also be made into twin beds for flexible sleeping arrangements as well as a vaulted ceiling and a super pretty window seat.

Both beds come swathed in 500 thread count luxurious cotton bedding, cloud-soft anti-allergy duvets and pillows and sumptuous cushions and throws to ensure a blissful nights' sleep.

There's a delightful beamed and vaulted shower room with walk in shower and a heated rail to keep towels warm and fluffy.

Outdoor space

Step through the French doors in the sitting room out to the garden, where you'll discover a gorgeously serene and secluded sunny terraced garden with box hedging, brick pathways and beautiful roses, surrounded by Cotswold stone walls - the perfect spot to relax and get away from it all! There are two lovely spaces for dining, a very comfortable sofa area for early morning coffee and breakfast al-fresco, or sundowners at the end of a busy day out exploring. As well as teak garden furniture for more formal dining.

There is private parking for one car at the front of the cottage with a further allocated space in the pub car park next door.

We know how gorgeous our retreats are, but don’t just take our word for it – here’s what previous guests say about Shepherds Cottage:

A really gorgeous little cosy cottage. Close to walks and a delightful village. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen.

The cottage was beautiful and very peaceful, exactly what we were looking for.

We loved the atmosphere and the coziness of the cottage.

Excellent cottage, neat and tidy and clean. Couldnt of asked for better

I fell in Love with the charming Shepherds Cottage and would love to return next year!

The cottage was exactly as I had expected and found everything we needed very easily. We were very well provided for and loved the provisions left for us in the basket in the kitchen. Instructions for everything was very accessible. We did use the log burner and provided our own kindling and firewood as we would expect to do although note that it says in the file this would be provided. It was August so perhaps no one would expect to need a fire, but the weather last week was not as good as this, sadly. Loved the fire though! It was perfect, we'd happily stay there again.

Third time staying here. Feels like home from home. Loved the welcome basket and essentials in the fridge which was really helpful after a long journey. The pub next door was great too! We had one minor issue which was rectified immediately. We love the location and everything about the house. We will be back (again!)

Wonderfully relaxing weekend. Beautiful cottage and garden. Everything high quality. Lovely welcome basket and clear instructions for everything. We wanted for nothing! Will certainly book again.

Fabulous cottage in a perfect location.

Superb location! Lovely garden areas and extremely cozy and comfortable! We would definitely stay again.

Shepherds Cottage is the quintessential Cotswolds cottage located in a great location…right on the Cotswolds Way. A short walk into town (either across the fields or along the road), it is quiet and out of the way from crowds during the busiest times of the year. It is very comfortable for two people. The outdoor space is lovely. We enjoyed our two week stay.

It is a delightful place for 2 people to stay.In lovely surroundings and only a few minutes from Chipping Campden

A stunning little cottage in an idyllic setting perfectly appointed and so obviously loved. An absolute delight, the owners have provided everything for a most comfortable holiday stay.

Charming cottage in idyllic location.

Great location and lovely place to stay, really well presented.

Very comfortable, well appointed Cottage, beautifully presented and situated in a most picturesque Cotswold village. We were very impressed!

We loved it. It was exactly as described, and we enjoyed it very much.

Beautiful cottage in a perfect location. A very comfortable relaxing week - hope to visit again soon!

This is the third time we have stayed at Shepherd’s Cottage - we love it!

An idyllic, tranquil retreat

Beautiful property, we had a lovely, relaxing stay!

A hidden gem, place is extra comfortable and have everything you need for a nice relaxing holiday, even a local pub at the top of the road.

Perfect. Very stylish and comfortable.

We loved the location. The immediate area is quiet with lovely walks and beautiful homes.

A perfect cottage for us to celebrate our ‘mini-moon’ after getting married in the Cotswolds. The incredibly comfortable and stylish interior was matched by the great outdoor space we were able to enjoy because of the nice weather! A lot of attention to detail has gone into this cottage, and we can’t wait to visit this and other Boutique Retreats again.

Our second stay at this superb ‘bolt hole’ situated in a delightful part of the Cotswolds.

A romantic stay in a perfect setting you will not forget.

A quintessential Cotswold cottage in a delightful location.

A lovely cottage in a great spot, it is very easy to rest and relax in this property.

Another lovely stay here. Second time and still as lovely as the first time. Lovely hamper with goodies on arrival. Bonus new coffee machine and bbq! Love the location being near the pub and walking distance to Chipping Campden. As I said before very tucked away but we liked that. Loved the outside space. Seems to be a sun trap and lovely and quiet. Wifi good, my husband and I both worked while we were there. Lovely and clean with super comfy beds too.

A very special cottage...beautiful setting in small village; central location with convenient access to surrounding areas; pristine, immaculate condition upon arrival (thanks to Vicky, the property's housekeeper); stylish, comfortable decor with updated finishes/fixtures; quiet private garden -- all combine to make this cottage a perfect immersion into the Cotswolds.

A truly wonderful place to stay and relax in superb surroundings.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location

Shepherd's Cottage is a lovely retreat, perfectly placed for a peaceful break. Chipping Campden is an easy walk away, so you can park the car and forget it!

What a fabulous place, so cosy, lovely interior and location and perfectly equipped with quality kitchen equipment! We had a fantastic week here and we stay in the Cotswolds regularly, this was our favourite place by far! The owner is super helpful if needed… we had a small malfunction of the coffee machine and they couldn’t have been more helpful and apologetic. Thank you we will be back!

The Kitchen was beautifully equipped, I cooked a few times and there was everything I needed. The Everhot was simple to use too. Walking into Chipping Campden either across the fields or by road was great and having a good drinking pub close by at the end of the day after touring the beautiful Cotswolds was a bonus. Great dog friendly cottage, our pup loved the big warm radiator in the lounge!

This is a beautiful house and location. The owners have done a fantastic job. We will definitely stay again as was perfectly tucked away but walking distance to everything. Loved it.

Delightful bijou country cottage, simply and tastefully decorated. Cottage was spotlessly clean, well equipped and incredibly comfortable. Lovely welcome basket on arrival. We felt quite at home! Perfect for a quiet get away. I would not hesitate to recommend this cottage.

Truly beautiful cottage in a perfect location for a relaxing weekend away from it all.

I don't want to say too much as this place will get so booked up!! It's just as the pictures and in a beautiful and peaceful location. Perfect size for a small family like ours. The welcome hamper was a lovely surprise, with tasty fresh treats. Everything was so clean and set up ready for us to enjoy our stay. It is tucked away and parking is a very short work away. The outside space is lovely too.
