Through the rustic timber-frame entrance, a world of endless charm awaits, where every enchanting historical feature is effortlessly enhanced with contemporary comforts and a timeless interior style. Promising an array of tranquil spaces to entertain, a wood burning stove, underfloor heating on the ground floor and a 1.5 acre south facing garden - luxury living awaits at each characterful turn. Set down the sleepy country lanes of Adlestrop, Amoretta lies only a ten-minute stroll from award-winning Daylesford Organic Farm, whilst the quintessential market towns of Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh are only short drive away. For the city dwellers looking to embrace a change of scenery, our magical abode is just two hours from London by car.
Living
A world of Hygge resides in the first living room, where an exposed stone feature wall and a contemporary dual sided wood burning stove create a cosy space for all to gather. Unwind in style with a choice of seating, including a sofa for three, a cosy armchair and a footstool, all upholstered in sumptuous cream linens. You'll also find two beautiful window seats, made for gazing out to country scenes.
Textures take the lead in the romantic sitting room, where chalky limewash walls are enhanced with antique furniture pieces, a feature wood burner and pretty muted hues. Spend slow afternoons admiring the verdant lawned garden on a balmy summer's day whilst a country breezes floats through the French doors, or simply settle down with a page-turner on either the sofa or chaise-style armchair.
Set amongst the eaves with exposed stone features, the upstairs snug provides a secret sanctuary to indulge in the cosiest of pursuits, whether you're seeking cinema nights or simply a place to withdraw.
For staycation entertainment, Sky Pods link Smart TVs in the living room, sitting room and kitchen, whilst the upstairs snug has the wonderful addition of Sky Glass. There is also underfloor heating across the entire ground floor.
On the ground floor resides a dedicated workout space, where you'll find a Unica home multi-gym.
Kitchen and Dining
Culinary artists will adore the country chic kitchen, promising farmhouse style units, topped with sleek quartz countertops, brass accents and a double Belfast sink. You'll find everything you need to craft delicious dishes, including an electric AGA, a Smeg coffee machine, a dishwasher, washing machine, integrated tumble dryer, microwave, and a fridge/freezer.
At the opposite end of the space beside the fire lies the rustic farmhouse table, where rattan dining chairs and a bespoke bench reside for folklore style feasting and fireside mealtimes beneath beautiful feature lighting by Tala.
Sleeping & Bathing
Take the wooden staircase to discover three stunning bedrooms.
Promising spellbinding slumbers beneath the breath-taking limewashed vaulted ceiling, the master bedroom offers an enchanting spot to escape the world. Boasting a king-size bed enveloped in cloud-soft linens, original wood flooring and historic mullion windows gazing over treetops - lie-ins have never been so heavenly. Accompanying a rustic wooden ladder are two beside tables and a hanging rail for storing belongings. Adjacent is the en suite with slate grey tiling, where you'll find a walk-in rainfall shower and a heated rail.
With a wood panelled feature wall and rattan accessories, the second bedroom in calming neutral shades is complete with a double bed, an occasional armchair, storage hooks and a velvet armchair with a side table.
Slip softly into bubble-topped soaks in the rustic family bathroom, where original stone arches and exposed honeyed stone transport you to an ethereal realm of period living. Alongside a heated rail and contemporary sinks, is an oval freestanding bathtub with a showerhead.
The third and final bedroom is endlessly romantic, with exposed stone windows and original beams. Ensuring a restful repose with a double bed, this calming boudoir promises a wooden hanging rail, a sumptuous love seat, a bench seat and a desk for guests looking to chronicle their travel reveries.
In addition, there's a separate, shower with a rainfall head next to the boot room.
Outdoor space
Set within its own 1.5-acre grounds, the dreamy south-facing garden space at Amoretta offers a tranquil spot to settle for alfresco pursuits, with a lawned garden and a spacious patio with seating promising an exquisite backdrop for summer scenes. Bordering the garden and offering dappled shade are mature shrubs and woodland which extends beyond the garden into wild, wet woodland, providing opportunity to roam and discover a gently meandering stream with several crossing bridges. (Please note, that woodland will only be available when the water levels are low). A dining table for six is a delight for savouring alfresco dining at golden hour, whilst an L-shaped sofa awaits for post-dinner tipples beneath the cosmos. There are also two Adirondack wooden loungers for whiling away the hours, along with a gas barbeque.
Please note, for security purposes when the property is vacant, there is a CCTV camera located on the exterior of the retreat. However, it will not be active or in use during guest stays.

Nestled in the charming village of Adlestrop, our country cottage is perfectly situated to uncover the magic of the Cotswolds. Those travelling from Northwest London can arrive at Amoretta in less than two hours by car, and a 1 hour 15-minute train journey from Paddington to nearby Kingham. For the seekers of country indulgence, Daylesford Organic Farm is only ten minutes away by foot, offering a collection of award-winning food, as well as a beautiful homeware and garden range. Take the short drive to The Fox in the village of Oddington for a wealth of heavenly seasonal fare, whilst in the opposite direction lies The Kingham Plough, a historic country pub with stylish interiors serving contemporary British delights. Families will adore the market town of Moreton-in-Marsh, where you can discover authentic Italian cuisine at Bellini, or pay a visit to Fosseway Garden Centre. For dreamy days out, adventure to the sweet towns and villages of Stow-on-the-Wold, and Bourton-on-the-Water, whilst Diddly Squat Farm, Broadway Tower, Snowshill Manor, Sezincote and Chastleton House promise a wonderful day out for the whole family. In the summer season, Cotswold Lavender Fields near Snowshill is home to an ethereal display of purple haze rivalling the regions of southern France.
