Picture-postcard pretty, Bramble Cottage is an oh-so-lovely Cotswold cottage for four lucky people, nestled in a delightful village setting. Step inside and you'll discover a beautifully restored home, where the owners have perfected the blend of traditional country living with all the comforts of modern life.

With a cosy sitting room with a wood burner at its heart, a fabulous kitchen and two beautiful bedrooms, Bramble Cottage is the perfect getaway for families, friends or indeed couples seeking a little more space. And being dog friendly too, your four-legged friend can come along too.

Set in the northeast of the Cotswolds, this is a wonderful spot for exploring this stunning part of England, whether its to explore picturesque market towns, hike over the hills, discover wonderful eateries or simply to rest and unwind at your own pace- just perfect!

Living

Step into the charming sitting room and you'll discover a characterful spot packed full of modern country charm with original ceiling beams, exposed Cotswold stone walls and a sofa plus two armchairs nestled around the cosy Charnwood wood burning stove. For relaxing evenings in, there's a 43-inch Smart TV, along with a chest full of games and throw blankets. A window seat offers the perfect spot to gaze out and watch the world go by.

In addition, there's a great entrance hall with plenty of room to store coats and boots following a bracing walk in the woods and through the rolling countryside.

As this is a traditional and charming cottage with period features, please note that the original staircase is steep and requires careful footing and may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility.

Eating

The stunning country kitchen is just a dream for foodies with wooden beams, gorgeously high ceiling, eye-catching U-shaped wooden worktop, and sage green shaker style cabinets. Whether you're a novice in the kitchen or a veritable Nigella, you'll find it fully equipped with everything you'll need to rustle up feasts for your loved one. There's an electric five burner stove with standing double oven and grill, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and top-notch cooking equipment and tableware, including the all-important Nespresso coffee machine to help wake you up in the morning.

The pretty dining table can also be found here and is the perfect spot for decadent dinners and lazy breakfasts, with a square wooden table, pew seat and three further chairs.

Sleeping

There are two delightful bedrooms to choose from.

The master bedroom, with gorgeous wood-panelled walls, boasts a delightful wrought iron king size bed for long, luxurious lie ins, flanked by two bedside tables and fabulous ambient lighting for when you want to catch up with your favourite book. In addition, there's an armchair, side table and dressing table. There's also a spacious built-in wardrobe and a suitcase holder so you can fully unpack, and the window overlooks the trees.

The second bedroom comes lined with sage-coloured, wood panelled walls and houses a comfy double bed. The room contains eye-catching lighting with overhead reading lamps. There is a large, tall boy dresser with drawers for clothes storage along with wall mounted hooks and hangers. The bed is also slightly raised for under bed storage of suitcases and bags, leaving you plenty of room in which to relax.

Both bedrooms come with sumptuous bedding (goose down or microfibre available), 600 thread Egyptian cotton linen and luxurious cushions and throws to ensure a blissful nights' sleep.

Bathing

The exquisite bathroom makes ablutions a pleasure with a sumptuous freestanding, roll top bath - made for long soaks. In addition, there's a calcatta marble shower with rainfall head - totally blissful after deep nights' sleep. We just adore the vintage sink unit with quartz top, whilst the heated rail ensures towels are kept warm and fluffy.

Outdoor space

The pretty cottage garden comes complete with a four-person dining table with a parasol and barbeque, perfect for meals alfresco. In addition, there are two Adirondack chairs for lazy days in the sunshine whilst a fire pit is the perfect go-to for starry evenings, wrapped up warm with mugs of hot cocoa (or something a little stronger!). There's also a bubbling stream which runs through the garden, perfect for gazing at from the comfort of the chairs.

Setting

Perfectly situated in the dreamy village of Lower Brailles, Bramble Cottage is wonderfully situated for uncovering the delights of the Cotswolds. Please note, due to the unique Cotswolds village location you may experience some noise pollution from the village road.

Parking

There is private, off-road parking to the rear of the property for up to two cars.

Babies and children

Babies and children are most welcome at Bramble Cottage. A highchair, travel cot, toddler plates and cups are provided. Please note that due to the stream children should be supervised at all times.

Dogs

Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome at Bramble Cottage. Please note, there is an additional fee per dog, per week or short break.
