Brimming with social spaces, including three living rooms, two kitchens, a playroom and six bedrooms, this stunning retreat is ideal for multi-generational stays or getaways with friends. In the main house, parties of nine are most welcome, whilst the romantic annexe sleeps a further two guests. Nestled in the quaint village of Nether Westcote, our beautiful retreat is hidden away from the world yet perfectly positioned to discover the never-ending charm of the Cotswolds, with a plethora of characterful towns and villages only a stone's throw away. From the scenic village of Bourton-on-the-Water to the magical town of Burford there's nowhere dreamier for a getaway...
Living, eating and dining
Promising the warmest of welcomes is the luxurious hallway, where a divine bifurcated staircase filled with striking art pieces leads to a plethora of charming spaces.
Overlooking rolling Cotswolds countryside through a series of Critall-style glass doors is the large, open plan living, kitchen and dining room, which seamlessly blends together for every occasion.
The first of the living rooms is a sun-soaked space, perfectly positioned to make the most of verdant vistas, where a cream boucle modular sofa provides ample space to stretch in style, accompanied by music from the Sonos speaker. You'll also find a further set of armchairs, a coffee table, and an additional Smart TV.
At the opposite end of the room, set beside a subtle lime-washed feature wall is the chic dining space, with a forest green striped upholstered bench seat and rattan dining chairs, beckoning for feasts on balmy days with the doors wide open.
Up a small set of steps is the cheerful, vintage-style kitchen, promising endless whimsy with sage green shaker units, antique brass hardware and a checkerboard-style mantle. A marble topped kitchen island rests centre, set beneath pleated pendant lights, and embraced by chic, rattan breakfast stools. A divine space for enthusiastic chefs, you'll find all you could ever need for whipping up gourmet treasures, including a rangemaster, a Nespresso coffee machine, two dishwashers, a fridge-freezer and a microwave. Just next door is the darling pantry, adorned with adorable picture tiles by Maude Made, with mustard shaker cabinets offering additional storage space. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Discover endless splendour in the grand sitting room, where a beautiful stone fireplace, reclaimed parquet flooring and stunning arched feature alcoves in baby blue promise a sophisticated space to settle. A sanctuary for moments gathered together, you'll find a multitude of cosy spots to lounge in front of the wood burning stove, from the botanical-inspired Burford sofa by Warner House with a contrasting Loaf fondue footstool, to a set of endlessly sumptuous blue velvet armchairs with a mustard fringe. There is also a Smart TV for those wishing to unwind with a movie.
Along the corridor resides the quirky playroom, promising a bespoke built-in bench seat embellished with a unique light display. A dream for keeping the little ones captivated, you'll find a picture TV and a selection of toys for all ages.
Towards the rear of the retreat is the spacious boot room, with bespoke carpentry storage, a bench seat and plenty of hooks for hanging coats and jackets. There is also an additional WC, with sumptuous crimson-red wood panelling, and a stunning Victorian-inspired watercolour wash basin.
In the annexe, the aesthetic open-plan living space is a dream, with white wood panelled walls, Crittall doors and statement pendant lighting. You'll find two cosy armchairs for curling up with a newspaper or admiring the neighbouring scenery, whilst at the opposite end of the kitchen, a Shaker kitchen with a peacock-tiled island and breakfast stools is fully equipped to craft meals for two.
Sleeping and bathing
You'll find six exquisite bedrooms at Iridis.
Uncover the sophisticated master bedroom, where rustic beams, scalloped interior finishes and exposed Cotswold stone sets the scene for heavenly slumbers. Featuring a super king-sized bed with a bespoke headboard in floral Hollyhocks by House of Hackney with a matching wooden bench seat, this heavenly space is an opulent space to dream. You'll also find two bedside tables and a chest of drawers by Soho Home, along with an occasional chair. Completing the dream is a Juliet balcony, a stunning spot to admire the perfectly pastoral backdrop. Down a short flight of stairs is a spacious dressing room with built-in wardrobes, along with a gorgeous en suite complete with a quarry-tiled walk-in shower and a brass rainfall head.
With walls entirely adorned with elegant blue Toille de Jouy wallpaper by Jane Clayton, the second bedroom promises a luxe space to reside, with drawers and a cream chesterfield chair.
A vibrant hideout for the little ones decorated in Painted Lady wallpaper by Chichester, a single bedroom lies next door.
Between bedrooms two and three is a shared family bathroom, where you'll find a walk-in shower and a Handmade Evelyn chinois wash basin.
Blush pink tones reign in the fourth bedroom, a sweet nook with a Parisian-inspired king bed and two bedside tables. Through the curved archway, you'll find a lovely dressing area with a desk and chest of drawers.
Through the adjoining door is the quirky 'Jack and Jill' bathroom, promising jungle-inspired walls, honed marble tiles and an exquisite yellow rolltop bathtub, which leads to the final bunk bedroom.
In soothing blue tones with a harlequin wallpaper feature wall, a bunk bed with a ladder awaits. This nautical-inspired space offers a pine chest of drawers for storage, a cream chesterfield armchair and a secret mezzanine level for small and curious explorers.
Set in the eaves of the annexe is the stylish and bright mezzanine bedroom, in calming neutral shades with rustic beams and retro pendant wall lights. A lavish mid-century super king-sized bed awaits, along with an oriental-inspired bench seat, two bedside tables and a sweet, occasional armchair in a mulberry velvet.
Adjacent is a walk-through storage space with hooks, along with a geometric-tiled bathroom space, complete with a large shower with a rainfall head and a beautiful, marble-topped Victorian wash basin.
Outdoor space
A world of charm resides outdoors, where a delightful lawned garden promises far-reaching views of the surrounding Cotswolds countryside, along with ample space to lounge until nightfall. On the patio area, you'll find a round teak table seating eight, with curved benches made for gathering for alfresco feasts. In the summer months, there is also a coal barbeque for guest use.
Whilst the garden is not fully dog proof, Iridis is surrounded by open countryside, a dream for those seeking long strolls with their canine companion.

Babies and children are most welcome at Iridis. A travel cot and highchair can be provided upon request.

Set in the darling village of Nether Westcote, our beautiful homestay is wonderfully located to discover the endless array of chocolate-box villages and towns scattered across the scenic Cotswolds countryside, whilst only being 90 minutes from London. Only a stone's throw from Iridis lies The Feathered Nest, a former malt house where you'll find a charming country atmosphere and the opportunity to sample their delicious six-course tasting menu. Take the short drive to Milton-under-Wychwood to dine at The Hare, an ancient pub with stylish interiors serving classic country delights, whilst The Fox in the village of Oddington promises heavenly seasonal fare. In the hillside town of Burford, known as the gateway to the Cotswolds, a range of fine eateries await, including The Bull, a former coaching inn-turned-cosmopolitan eatery, where you can opt for sushi at Japanese-inspired Hiro, or Wild, where you can dine amongst the works of world-renowned artists like Basquiat and Banksy. Close to Moreton-in-Marsh is the delightful Daylesford Organic, which guarantees a wealth of award-winning organic produce and an indulgent day out for all. Alternatively, venture to Soho Farmhouse, a members-only dining and wellness destination hidden amongst Oxfordshire scenery. For dreamy days out which are no further than ten minutes away by car, pay a visit to the sweet towns and villages of Stow-on-the-Wold, and Bourton-on-the-Water, whilst Broadway Tower, Snowshill Manor, Sezincote and Chastleton House promise a wonderful day out for the whole family.
