Living, eating and dining

Step through the main entrance to find yourself in a realm of quintessential cottage charm, where breath-taking living quarters ensure endless space for the entire gathering to unwind.

Seek laid-back brunches in the breakfast room, where a farmhouse table rests with woven dining chairs and a bench seat, along with a Smart TV.

Through the double archway, modern luxury meets country living dreams in the stunning kitchen space, complete with a stylish breakfast bar. With teal wood panelling and a contrasting cherry-red AGA, this is an inspiring space for budding chefs looking to rustle up decadent banquets for loved ones.

Amongst the gorgeous brass accents and dove-grey cabinets, you'll find all you should require during your stay, including an electric cooker, fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine, and even a Nutribullet. Along with a check-patterned armchair - ideal for curling up with a newspaper.

Through the adjoining door is an additional dining area, where an exposed stone, dual sided fireplace separates the living room. At the heart of the room, a handsome wood burning stove promises toasty feasting and spellbinding fireside moments.

In the living room, a plump cream sofa and sumptuous blue loveseat await for evenings huddled in front of the Smart TV with a film. Around the corner, a blue paisley print armchair offers a serene spot for those seeking solitude.

At the very end of the cottage is the cosy snug, where vibrant cinema chairs, beanbags and board games promise entertainment for all.

Each Smart TV at Honeysuckle comes with a multitude of streaming services. You can also find a DAB radio with Bluetooth speakers for playing your staycation soundtrack.

In addition to the boot room with a sink, washer/dryer, freezer and microwave, there is also a cloakroom with downstairs loo.

Sleeping

Discover the magnificent master bedroom, where a super king-sized bed promises heavenly lie-ins amongst the soothing sounds of the country. Filled with natural light from dual aspect cottage windows, this room has a dressing table with a stool, full-length mirror, two beside tables, a sage-toned chest of drawers, and striped linen armchair with a footstool. There is also a hanging ladder and hooks for storage.

With tasteful wall art and burnt orange inflections, bedroom two is equally pretty. Here you'll find a super king-sized bed swathed in neutral linens, a dressing table, chest of drawers, two bedside tables, a grey armchair with footstool, and a quirky hanging rail for your finest garments.

An exposed stone feature wall ensures the third bedroom is a serene boudoir in which to reside. Along with the plump king-sized bed, there is a rail, an occasional chair, a full-length mirror, antler hooks, and a chest of drawers.

The final bedroom with twin beds is simply charming for the little ones, with a cute farmyard theme throughout. Additionally, there is a solid oak chest of drawers, a pouffe, and a window seat for the curious minds gazing into the garden and beyond.

We know how gorgeous our retreats are, but don’t just take our word for it – here’s what previous guests say about Honeysuckle:

Honeysuckle was the perfect cosy cottage for our pre Christmas family get-together .

Honeysuckle cottage is idyllic. We visited for the weekend at the start of December, and the house was beautifully decorated for Christmas. They have thought of everything you need, such as robes and specific towels to use for the hot tub. The interior decor is charming, and the house is deceptively spacious, with lots of 'zones' for eating and relaxing. There is even a cupboard of toys and games that can be used by children. The location is great, only a short drive from lovely cotswolds spots. We will, without hesitation, look to stay again and recommend it highly.

Definitely going back !!

This retreat is wonderful. It's the perfect mix of having both beautiful decor with tons of character, but also the bathroom+kitchen appliances and fixtures being all nice and new and functional. There was plenty of room for the group of 5 of us, the location's great with a lovely pub 2 minutes walk away, plenty of parking, the outdoor space is nice with the hot tub and the chiminea, indoor fire nice and cosy as well.

We had a fantastic time! That’s two great holidays in a row now at your places - thanks!

A gorgeous cottage, beautifully appointed, with stunning views across the fields and two beautiful rescue donkeys as neighbours.

This was a beautiful cottage in a wonderfully peaceful location with the added benefit of a fantastic gastro pub a few minutes walk awsy. Our 3 generation family had a wonderful short break and would definitely return.

Honeysuckle Cottage is the perfect location for a multi generational family holiday, including the dog! It has everything you need and has been very tastefully and comprehensively fitted out to enhance the experience of being at home away from home. The location is quiet, pretty, safe and easily accessed with generous parking and excellent outdoor amenities. There are pleasant walks from the front gate so you don't even have to drive anywhere. A visit to the local pub/restaurant, The Feathered Nest is highly recommended/a must!. And Sunday morning hymns from the adjacent Methodist Chapel, enjoyed over a cup of coffee on the patio are soothing and nostalgic.

Wonderful! A lovely cottage in a great location !

Honeysuckle is a beautiful space, and we were very impressed upon first entering. The renovation has been carefully done, and everything was in good order when we arrived.

The cottage is delightful. It has many little secret surprises that revealed themselves to us during our stay… ie the second bathroom upstairs which we didn’t realise was there! The door slides rather than swings so we thought it was locked! And the hey presto, we found it hours after we’d settled in! The beds are foam and very comfortable. The aga was a wonderful addition. The owners, kate and Richard were extremely helpful with anything that we needed. Thankyou for your extra care.

Stunning retreat! So glad to be in this space. Aga was fabulous.

Honeysuckle Cottage was amazing. Fantastic location, warm, cosy, spotlessly clean, spacious cottage with everything we needed. The hot tub was an added bonus and was perfect for a relaxing Saturday afternoon spa.Everything about the cottage was just fantastic and of the highest standards. We loved every moment spent there. It was just perfect for our family weekend break, would highly recommend.

Honeysuckle was a beautiful cottage in a lovely location, perfect for a special birthday weekend with friends. We would love to return and will definitely book through Boutique Retreats again.

Gorgeous interiors with owner additions making it especially comfortable and stylish.

Beautiful cottage. Fantastic location. It’s everything you’d want and more. We didn’t want to leave!

Gorgeous cottage which has been recently renovated with great love and attention to detail. It is well-equipped & there has been careful thought put into the design and wonderful furnishings which are in keeping with the landscape. In a beautiful part of The Cotswolds between Burford and Stow-on-The Wold, the cottage is in the centre of Nether Westcote and walking distance to a great pub ‘The Feathered Nest’

Was a wonderful location with such great things for the children to do. We loved every minute of our getaway!

Thank you so much. We loved our stay.

Very peaceful

Thought the house was fabulous and ideal for what we needed.

We had such a lovely time at Honeysuckle cottage, it is gorgeously decorated inside and out. We had all the amenities we needed during our stay. The cottage is in a great location - 15 mins from daylesford farm by car, with multiple walks from the doorstep of the cottage and The Feathered Nest Inn is a 2 minute walk away with incredible views and gorgeous food that we would throughly recommend. If you are looking for a relaxing stay in the countryside surrounded by gorgeous scenery and a beautifully presented home we would thoroughly recommend Honeysuckle.
