Carefully curated with timeless country style and modern luxury in mind, our undeniably enchanting homestay promises rustic, original features and effortlessly striking interior touches. With four beautiful bedrooms and endless living spaces for moments of togetherness, this is a wonderful getaway for families and friends alike. Along with the offering of a wood burning stove, cinema-style snug, and a delightful cedar hot tub, Honeysuckle is only an hour and a half from London, perfect for those daydreaming of escaping the hustle and bustle. Flee the ordinary, where a magical escape exists within the honey-hued walls of our exquisite Cotswolds home.
Living, eating and dining
Step through the main entrance to find yourself in a realm of quintessential cottage charm, where breath-taking living quarters ensure endless space for the entire gathering to unwind.
Seek laid-back brunches in the breakfast room, where a farmhouse table rests with woven dining chairs and a bench seat, along with a Smart TV.
Through the double archway, modern luxury meets country living dreams in the stunning kitchen space, complete with a stylish breakfast bar. With teal wood panelling and a contrasting cherry-red AGA, this is an inspiring space for budding chefs looking to rustle up decadent banquets for loved ones.
Amongst the gorgeous brass accents and dove-grey cabinets, you'll find all you should require during your stay, including an electric cooker, fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine, and even a Nutribullet. Along with a check-patterned armchair - ideal for curling up with a newspaper.
Through the adjoining door is an additional dining area, where an exposed stone, dual sided fireplace separates the living room. At the heart of the room, a handsome wood burning stove promises toasty feasting and spellbinding fireside moments.
In the living room, a plump cream sofa and sumptuous blue loveseat await for evenings huddled in front of the Smart TV with a film. Around the corner, a blue paisley print armchair offers a serene spot for those seeking solitude.
At the very end of the cottage is the cosy snug, where vibrant cinema chairs, beanbags and board games promise entertainment for all.
Each Smart TV at Honeysuckle comes with a multitude of streaming services. You can also find a DAB radio with Bluetooth speakers for playing your staycation soundtrack.
In addition to the boot room with a sink, washer/dryer, freezer and microwave, there is also a cloakroom with downstairs loo.
Sleeping
Discover the magnificent master bedroom, where a super king-sized bed promises heavenly lie-ins amongst the soothing sounds of the country. Filled with natural light from dual aspect cottage windows, this room has a dressing table with a stool, full-length mirror, two beside tables, a sage-toned chest of drawers, and striped linen armchair with a footstool. There is also a hanging ladder and hooks for storage.
With tasteful wall art and burnt orange inflections, bedroom two is equally pretty. Here you'll find a super king-sized bed swathed in neutral linens, a dressing table, chest of drawers, two bedside tables, a grey armchair with footstool, and a quirky hanging rail for your finest garments.
An exposed stone feature wall ensures the third bedroom is a serene boudoir in which to reside. Along with the plump king-sized bed, there is a rail, an occasional chair, a full-length mirror, antler hooks, and a chest of drawers.
The final bedroom with twin beds is simply charming for the little ones, with a cute farmyard theme throughout. Additionally, there is a solid oak chest of drawers, a pouffe, and a window seat for the curious minds gazing into the garden and beyond.
Bathing
On the first floor at Honeysuckle with glossy green tiling resides the family bathroom, complete with a gorgeous rolltop bathtub and a spacious shower. In addition, a shower room promises rejuvenating self-care moments.
Each bathroom at Honeysuckle is stocked with Bramley toiletries.
Outside space
Honeysuckle's abundant garden space invites for sun-kissed days and magical moments gathered alfresco. To the front of the retreat, with floral borders and shaded by trees is a lawn, offering a secluded picnic spot and roaming space for the little ones, who will also adore the play area nestled amongst the trees. At the rear is a spacious, private patio, where there is the heavenly addition of a cedar hot tub - an enchanting spot to reside at dusk with a glass in hand. Beckoning for evening feasts is a dining table for eight, whilst a casual seating area gathers around the charming wood burning stove.
A gas barbeque is available for use during the summer months, with the option of bike storage if you wish to bring them along.
Please note, a small church is set beside Honeysuckle's private courtyard garden. A quiet Sunday service (without bells) is held once a week.
Parking
There is ample private parking at Honeysuckle for up to ten cars, along with an electric car charging point available for guest use.
Setting
Please note, that Honeysuckle is attached to a chapel, who have a service every Sunday morning. Whilst this should not disturb your stay, we do ask that you are mindful during their service time.
Dogs
This retreat welcomes one small, well-behaved dog. Please note, there is an additional fee per dog, per week or short break.
Babies and children
Honeysuckle welcomes babies and children. A travel cot and two highchairs can be provided upon request.

A delightful addition to our heavenly homestay, meet Honeysuckle's neighbours, Billy and Lilly the donkeys, who live in the field behind the retreat.

Residing in the quaint village of Nether Westcote, Honeysuckle is perfectly positioned to wander the postcard-worthy villages and towns throughout the scenic Cotswolds countryside, whilst only being 90 minutes from London. Just a fleeting stroll from the cottage awaits The Feathered Nest, a former malt house promising a heart-warming atmosphere and picturesque garden views. Take the short drive to Milton under Wychwood to dine at The Hare, an ancient pub with stylish interiors serving classic country delights, whilst The Lamb Inn, perched between Burford and Chipping Norton offers a menu with a modern twist and an array of wood-fired dishes. Close to Moreton-In-Marsh is the delightful Daylesford Organic, which guarantees a wealth of award-winning organic produce and an indulgent day out for all. Alternatively, venture to Soho Farmhouse, a members-only dining and wellness destination hidden amongst Oxfordshire scenery. For dreamy days out which are no further than ten minutes away by car, pay a visit to the sweet towns and villages of Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold, and Bourton-on-the-Water, where you can attend acoustic events at the Hawkstone Brewery.
