Living
In calming neutral tones, the living space at Coorie is a soothing space to reside after days spent climbing beautiful Munros. With two three-seater sofas and a vintage leather armchair, there's ample space to relax as you settle in for evenings fireside. A Smart TV sits above the wood burning stove, complete with Sky TV and Netflix for endless entertainment.
Eating and dining
Savour mealtimes with your nearest and dearest in the bright and welcoming kitchen and dining space, promising a calming, pared-back design. The Shaker-style kitchen with beautiful open shelving is fully equipped with an induction hob and double oven, integrated fridge freezer and dishwasher. For brewed beverages, you'll find a Fohen hot tap and a Nespresso coffee machine.
There's a dining table for two positioned beside the kitchen window, made for soaking up the mesmerising vistas of the River Bran and mountains beyond as you sip your first morning brew. In addition, you'll find a separate dining space for six to enjoy lavish meals with your closest friends and family.
Sleeping and bathing
Uncover three bedrooms at Coorie, all located on the first floor with stunning views of the Scottish wilderness.
Swathed in tones of ecru, the master bedroom boasts a grand king size bed with a rattan headboard, dressed in the finest linens, cushions and throws to ensure the sweetest of dreams at Coorie. For storing belongings, you'll find two chests of drawers, with the additional hanging space. For added comfort, there's an ensuite shower room with a large walk-in rainfall shower and a heated towel rail.
Further embracing the natural surroundings with soothing décor and soft furnishings in an earthy palette, the second bedroom is a sweet twin room, with two single beds welcoming children and friends alike. A chest of drawers and hanging shelf provide space for storing your treasures, with the addition of a full-length mirror.
A heavenly sanctuary to retreat to at the end of the day, the third bedroom has a king size bed with a beautiful linen headboard. With two chests of drawers, an armchair and a writing desk, there's plenty of space for storing belongings, relaxing and catching up on an email or two.
The family bathroom can be found on the ground floor, with a clawfoot bathtub and overhead rainfall shower. Savour refreshing showers and bubble-topped soaks in this delightfully luxurious space. You'll also find a heated towel rail to keep towels fluffy and warm.
Outdoor space
Boasting breath-taking views of the River Bran and enchanting mountains, the outdoor space at Coorie invites you to relax and dine in the most picturesque setting. Savour your morning coffee in peaceful seclusion on the vintage garden bench, with a picture-perfect backdrop of swaying trees and the gentle flow of the river. While away your days outside, watching the occasional train journey along the train tracks before you. Enjoy meals alfresco at the outdoor dining table, and admire the landscapes at dusk beside the firepit, with two Adirondack lounge chairs promising the utmost comfort for blissful evenings spent in the great outdoors.

There is private parking for up to six cars at Coorie.
Babies and children
Babies and children most welcome at Coorie. A travel cot and highchair are available on request. Please note that there are no stairgates on the stairs.
Dogs
Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome at Coorie. The garden is enclosed for your canine companions to explore. Dog bowls and towels can be provided on request. Please note that there is an additional charge per dog, per week or short break.

In the Area
Ideally located between Achnasheen and Achanalt, there are a host of beautiful places to visit from Coorie. For hikers seeking magnificent landscapes, trail a network of footpaths, from the heights of Fionn Bheinn to the mesmerising Loch a' Chroisg and the Beinn Eighe Nature Reserve. For angling enthusiasts, the River Bran, which flows behind the retreat, can be used for fishing via prior arrangements with the local estate. Offering one of the most iconic views of the Highlands, visit the Glen Docherty View Point in under 15-minutes by car. Coorie is also a perfectly central location for exploring the NC500, with the picturesque Ullapool on route, and the Isle of Skye is just over an hour and a half away by car - perfect for a daytrip to see the Fairy Pools and the Old Man of Storr.
The Torridon offers a range of dining options, from its 1887 Restaurant with three AA Rosettes, their dog-friendly Bo & Muc Brasserie offering a field-to-fork ethos and The Beinn Bar, showcasing some of Scotland's finest tipples. A delightful seasonal café and restaurant, visit the Gille Brighde for homemade treats with a beautiful backdrop of Loch Diabaig. With stunning sea views and a mouth-watering menu of fresh seafood and pub classics, The Applecross Inn is well worth a visit too.
