At the end of each day, seek tranquil repose in front of the wood burner as stars fleck a satin sky beyond the windows.
Living
In a quiet corner, the beautiful living area of Viewbank awaits with curved panelled walls and rich, earthy tones. The perfect space for reclining throughout the day, it features a sumptuous leather sofa complemented by four leather armchairs, gathered around a wood burner-effect gas stove. Relax in the restful ambience, immersing in the pages of a favourite read or seeking endless entertainment from the Smart TV. Tempting for nostalgic fun, a backgammon and poker set are provided for timeless pursuits.
Eating and dining
Taking pride of place in the heart of the home, Viewbank's open-plan kitchen and dining area celebrates life's rituals. Step across the tiled floor and gather around the green marble-topped kitchen island, crafting delectable dishes as the dreamworthy countryside scenes vie for your attention. A mirrored backsplash reflects the exquisite views while you prepare flavoursome feasts, and an array of Miele appliances and accoutrements offer everything you need for culinary creativity. In a separate utility room, you'll find a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Soothing natural light illuminates the space during the day, while the arrival of dusk is softened with bespoke lighting and a wood burner-effect gas stove. For shared moments, a spacious dining table with space for six provides the perfect place to gather over vintages on ice and plates filled with the freshest Scottish fare.
Sleeping and bathing
Viewbank is home to three ensuite bedrooms and an additional shower room and WC.
Beckoning for blissful repose, the first bedroom promises the sweetest sanctuary for rest with a super king bed dressed in the finest linens. Embrace heavenly lie-ins, gazing at the verdant views beyond the window, opening the door in the warmer months to welcome the outdoors. A built-in wardrobe, hanging rail, and drawers provide space to stow treasures, while a chair offers somewhere to rest awhile. For utmost comfort, an ensuite bathroom is home to both a bath and shower for rejuvenating selfcare.
Adorned in calming hues, the second and third bedrooms tempt for early nights and slow mornings with super king size beds topped with the cosiest pillows and throws. Double-fitted wardrobes and drawers provide space for belongings, while both bedrooms also enjoy ensuite bathrooms with rainfall showers.
An additional WC can be found near the entrance of Viewbank, while a shower room resides in the hall.
Outdoor space
Inviting spellbinding hours under warm sunshine and starlit skies, the garden is an enchanting place to unwind. Private parking is available for up to five cars at Viewbank.

Two dogs are welcome at Viewbank. Please note, there is an additional fee per dog, per week or short break.
Babies and children
Viewbank welcomes children and one baby. A travel cot and highchair are available upon request.

For the lovers of history, Glamis Castle is a must-visit. A whisper from Viewbank, this 14th-century castle exudes romance, once the inspiration for Shakespeare's Macbeth and the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother.
