For oceanside days, simply drive to the coast and savour sun-kissed moments on the shores of Southerness beach.
Living, Kitchen and Dining
Brimming with charm and cosy Scottish style at every turn, step through the front door of Beira's Glen where moments of coorie await. First, uncover the beautifully spacious, open farmhouse kitchen and dining room, where striking slate tiles and traditional cream shaker cabinets mirror the retreat's calming exterior. Everything you'll need for culinary creation is on hand here, including an oven with hob, a Bialetti coffee pot, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, and fridge-freezer. Adjacent is a rustic dining table for eight, made for gathering with morning coffee and pastries, whilst at the heart of the room, a wood burning stove adds a quintessential cottage feel. At the opposite end of the space, an olive L-shaped sofa and mocha toned armchair with an ottoman promises a casual space to stretch out in style. For streaming your favourite films, there is a Smart TV.
Through the curtain awaits the cabin-style garden room, light-filled and beautifully crafted with wood panelling in Farrow and Ball's Calke Green and softened with natural jute rugs. For heavenly soirees and suppers by candlelight, a reclaimed church corner pew and pine dining table with chairs rest in the corner, whilst angled towards a stunning picture window looking out to the garden and beyond, two mustard yellow armchairs offer a homely spot to withdraw with a book in hand.
Echoing the verdant hues throughout Beira's Glen is the formal sitting room, where contemporary and traditional seamlessly blend with playful antiques and vibrant oil paintings. An inviting space to reset and savour whisky drams at nightfall, discover an emerald, metro-tiled fireplace featuring a second wood burning stove along with a choice of comfy seating to gather for fireside conversation with your kin.

Adorned in Zoffany Richmond Park wallpaper, uncover the master bedroom of dreams, where a calming a forest green palette offers a soothing setting in which to slumber. Lingering lie-ins reside in the king-size bed, whilst a sumptuous, upholstered armchair awaits for moments of quietude. For storing your belongs, there is a chest of drawers, two bedside tables and hanging hooks.
A celebration of colour, the eclectic second bedroom is a stunning space to unwind. Swathed in Strawberry Tree wallpaper by Cole & Son and adorned with frilled wall sconces, here you'll find a king-size bed, two bedside tables, a chest of drawers, hanging hooks and a small dressing table.
Finally, discover the darling twin bedroom with two single beds, where daring pops of candy pinks create a flamboyant hideout. This room is complete with a hand painted bedside table and a corner cupboard.
Bathing
Featuring reclaimed terracotta tiles, black wood panelling and powder pink walls, the bathroom at Beira's Glen is effortlessly romantic. Slip softly into the bathtub for captivating soaks, whilst for rejuvenating wake up moments there is a separate shower.

A short stroll from the cottage lies the popular Waterloo Monument, promising views of the ruins of Sweetheart Abbey, a mesmerising former monastery immortalised by famous painter J.M.W Turner in the 18th century. Within New Abbey, you'll find the quintessential New Abbey Tearooms, a small village store and The New Abbey Arms.
