A romantic reverie resides beneath the characterful beams of our darling homestay in every season - whether you're seeking a couples' retreat or an escape with a small family. Promising a delightful village setting, Number 36 is perfectly positioned to uncover the delights of the Cotswolds, whilst being just under two and a half hours from London by car.
Living
Cosy moments await beneath the original, exposed beams of the sitting room, where flagstone flooring is beautifully enhanced by elegant neutral furnishings with botanical green flourishes. Settled within the inglenook stone fireplace is a wood burning stove – a dreamy addition after days spent uncovering the charm of the Cotswolds. Uncover a choice of seating options, including a plump cream sofa for three, and a stylish wooden armchair. For staycation entertainment, you’ll find a Smart TV with Netflix and Disney+ subscriptions. There is also a sideboard beneath the stairs with a selection of games and books for your perusal.
Please note that Number 36 is a snug and characterful cottage with low ceilings.
Kitchen and Dining
Contemporary and calming, the open-plan kitchen and dining space with white shaker-style cabinets and metro tiling is a delightful space to create culinary magic. Beside the wooding dining table for four, bi-fold doors open up to the leafy garden space - a heavenly setting to savour your morning coffee straight from the Nespresso machine.
Sleeping & Bathing
Exuding elegance and sophistication, the master bedroom with a sumptuous king-sized bed is draped in delicate Egyptian cotton sheets and a sage green striped throw. Featuring quirky wooden hanging rails, original wood flooring and interiors in a symphony of neutrals – only the most soothing of slumbers reside within this space.
Equally charming with forest green shaker panelling, the stylish second bed is a zip-and-link – offering both a king and twin set-up for those seeking flexible sleeping solutions.
Please note, that as Number 36 is 500 years old, it's full of charming quirks which also means there are some low ceilings upstairs.
Both bedrooms share the family bathroom, where you’ll find a walk-in rainfall shower with a handheld head. In addition, the owners provide fluffy white bathrobes and Elemis toiletries.
Outside space
Through the bi-fold doors awaits the enclosed garden, where a selection of curated alfresco spaces promise to entertain throughout your staycation. Sunkissed days call for gatherings of every occasion around the outdoor dining table, whilst a wood-fired hot tub is a dreamy corner in which to recline beneath the stars.
Babies
Babies and children are most welcome at Number 36. A cot, highchair and two stairgates are provided upon request. Please bring your own bedding.
Dogs
Two dogs are most welcome at Number 36. Please note, there is an additional fee per dog, per week or short break.
Parking
There is parking at the rear of the cottage, suitable for small cars. For medium to large cars, you may find it easier to park beside the access row or outside the cottage.

Perfectly set on the main road into Broadway, Number 36 is an wonderfully positioned to explore an array of pursuits in this chocolate-box village, with boutique shops, charming streets and delectable eateries just a short stroll away.
Please note, due to this unique setting you may experience noise pollution from the main road into Broadway.

Nestled in the county of Worcestershire, Broadway is an endlessly pretty village set deep in the Cotswolds countryside - the largest of England's Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Brimming with honeycomb-coloured stone cottages and beautiful period properties, walk down Broadway's wide highstreets lined with chestnut trees and discover the village's hidden secrets.
