Living
Unveil a collection of luxurious living spaces at Underhill, from tucked-away corners to lavish areas made for entertaining. Two curved sofas invite you to relax within the main living room, set on a raised platform just moments from the aquatic heart of the home. As night falls, settle in before the 85" Smart TV, complete with Bose speakers and a full Sky package including movies and Sky Sports, ensuring entertainment for all. A treasure trove of inviting nooks invite you to unwind with a gripping book, or retreat to the hidden cave, where two armchairs rest before a wood-burning stove, promising a serene setting for fireside tipples. Perfectly hidden behind sliding doors, with steps leading down to the swimming pool, a games area beckons with a pool table, bar, and a 75" Smart TV with a full Sky package - a dream for hosting game nights with your signature cocktail. For moments of unplugged bliss, an additional living space awaits to the rear of the retreat beside the third and fourth bedrooms styled with a tan leather sofa and armchair in rich forest tones.
Please take care when using the steep spiral staircase leading from the games room to the pool deck.
Eating and dining
Inspiring you to craft flavourful dishes, uncover a contemporary kitchen designed around a central island, complete with a welcoming breakfast bar for gathering as meal preparations take place. The kitchen is well-equipped with a range of modern Neff appliances, including a full-size fridge, freezer, oven, grill oven, hob and dishwasher. In addition, you'll find an air fryer, L'OR Barista coffee machine and a Quooker hot tap for seamless brewing, with a Smart TV adding a touch of ease as you cook. In a separate utility room, there is a washing machine, dishwasher and a microwave.
Elegantly placed before expansive sliding doors that unveil a scene of total tranquillity, a generous oval dining table offers comfortable seating for eight, creating the perfect setting to gather and dine in style.
Sleeping and bathing
Decorated with contemporary panelling in deep oak hues, a king-size bed rests at the heart of the first bedroom, with the addition of a Smart TV for effortless morning viewing. Scenes of rolling countryside unfold beyond the window, promising the utmost serenity as you wake each morning. For stowing belongings, large, mirrored wardrobes are positioned before the bed, complemented by a separate dressing room with a dreamy outlook over the garden. With a floor-to-ceiling glass door, the ensuite bathroom invites refreshing morning moments beneath the rainfall shower, alongside a copper slipper bathtub for soothing soaks. There's also a separate WC for added convenience.
Adorned in a palette of earthy tones, the second bedroom welcomes blissful slumber, with a king-size bed dressed in comforting linens and a velvet throw in shades of merlot. For storage, uncover ample space in the sliding wardrobes, while a private shower room can be found next door.
Beautifully mirrored, bedrooms three and four invite with sumptuous double beds, layered in comforting blankets in rich forest and chocolate hues, echoing the serene woodland views beyond. Each inviting room also features a rustic chest of drawers, perfect for storing your belongings.
Opposite the third bedroom, a shower room in charcoal tones awaits, featuring a generous rainfall shower. All bathrooms include heated towel rails to ensure towels remain warm and luxuriously fluffy.
Swimming Pool
Under a striking skylight, the 11m hourglass-shaped pool sits at the heart of Underhill. Savour sun-drenched dips in cerulean waters, heated to 28°c for year-round comfort. For added enjoyment, a selection of pool floats and toys are provided, along with a large cinema projector above the pool with access to all the must-have streaming packages, in addition to Sky Sports and Sky Movies. Please ensure children and dogs are supervised at all times near the pool.
Safety
Underhill is a truly unique offering and due to the location of the swimming pool within the main living area of the property with no isolation fencing, this property is only suitable for adults and children who are competent swimmers. Children and dogs must be supervised at all times.
Outdoor space
With breathtaking views over the enchanting Peak District, explore a range of beautifully curated outdoor spaces to unwind, from the sweeping lawn to the unique rooftop garden. The alfresco dining space invites you to dine in the most beautiful setting, with a rustic table that comfortably seats eight for memorable meals enjoyed en plein air. Grill flavoursome feasts on the large charcoal barbeque, before settling in for cosy nights cocooned by the warming glow of the outdoor wood burner. Positioned across the expansive lawn, eight sun loungers invite you to relax and unwind effortlessly throughout the summer months. Tucked in a secluded corner of the garden, an urban cedar hot tub beckons for divine evenings immersed in a swirl of silky bubbles.
Parking
There is ample parking on the gated driveaway at Underhill, with the addition of an EV charging point for electric vehicles.
Babies and children
Babies and children are most welcome at Underhill. A travel cot and highchair are available on request. Please ensure that children are supervised at all times near the swimming pool.
Dogs
Up to three dogs are welcome at Underhill. Dog bowls and beds are provided. Please note, there is an additional fee per dog, per week or short break. The garden is not fully enclosed, with sheep and lambs grazing in the neighbouring field. A fully enclosed paddock is available for dogs to exercise freely.
