Living
Wonderfully spacious, the open-plan, double-height living area at The Grey Shed encompasses a lounge, kitchen, and dining space. Clad in Nordic white wood walls, minimalist interiors adorned with vintage touches, curating in a cosy space for gathering and relaxing. The epitome of calm, this space benefits from large Crittall-style doors and windows which bathe rustic features in golden light. Lounge upon the Loaf sofa or settle on the rattan swing chair and idle away the hours, watching a film on the Smart TV or lost in the pages of a novel. To spin a cinematic soundtrack, play your favourite playlist through the Bluetooth speaker/sound bar or the B&O stereo and vinyl collection. For extra cosiness, you'll find underfloor heating throughout.
Eating and dining
Merging with the living area, the Scandi-inspired kitchen and dining area set an atmospheric scene for brunches and suppers at home. The deVOL kitchen features a Silestone worktop and vintage workbench island, creating plenty of space for rustling up feasts and gathering over a bottle of something special. Tastefully presented, everything you could need is provided for culinary prep, including a dishwasher, Bertazzoni cooker with induction hob, Smeg fridge and freezer and more. There's also a Nespresso machine for those aromatic morning blends. For dining in comfort and style, an oversized table with a vintage two-seater bench and four chairs reside under industrial pendant lights, ready for feasting together.
For extra convenience, a utility room can be found with a washing machine, tumble dryer, Butler sink, boot store and more - perfect for shedding layers after blustery moorland walks.
Sleeping and bathing
A soothing colour palette imbues the mezzanine bedroom with a real sense of serenity. Beckoning for moments of pure relaxation, it balances minimalist design, earthy flourishes and sumptuous furnishings for utmost cosiness. Set under a skylight, a super-king Divan bed, hanging rail, chest of drawers and Roberts radio paint the picture, while completing the scene is a freestanding, rolltop bath set within the eaves.
The main bathroom is located on the ground floor and harmonises slate-grey hues with white wood panelling. Well appointed, it has a large walk-in, rainfall shower and is warmed by toasty underfloor heating. On the first-floor mezzanine, a rolltop bath awaits for soothing soaks after hours of adventure.
