Tremenheere Kitchen prides itself on creating almost everything in-house from its freshly baked bread to its scrumptious cakes to even their very own spiced ketchup! Using the freshest seasonal ingredients, you can treat yourself and your loved ones to something deliciously local in this bright and airy restaurant. If you’re just wanting to satisfy your sweet tooth, this welcoming establishment also offers freshly ground coffee, Cornish cream teas and home-made cakes; our current favourite is the carrot cake with buttercream & candied zest – delicious!
Serving breakfast from 10am, you can start your day off right with free-ranged scrambled eggs served on toast with a choice of smoked bacon or cured salmon or for a real-crowd pleaser tuck into a gooey croque monsieur. There’s plenty to choose from bacon sandwiches, sautéed wild mushrooms, baked beans, chorizo and much, much more. For lunch, have your choice from a range of salads, fish and vegan and vegetarian boards jam-packed with delicious goodies such as green lentil pastry parcels, spiced flat bread and chilli and mint falafels. Of course, you can always pop down for a glorious and generous Sunday Lunch – whether you tuck into beef, pork, nut roast or fish you can be sure to be leaving with full and content bellies.
If you’re looking for somewhere to have a romantic evening meal or celebration dinner, Tremenheere Kitchen is the perfect foodie destination. The menu is ever changing to make the most of the local seasonal produce; a petite selection but all cooked to perfection. You can expect delicious dishes such as roast supreme Cornish chicken with pancetta and thyme bread sauce, Newlyn market fish, potato and caper terrine and the old favourite of beer battered fish and chips. Finish off the evening with something sweet like a warm treacle tart, a dark chocolate brownie or a brandy snap basket filled with local Moomaid ice creams.
