Living
The snug sitting room is just lovely, and the perfect space to retire to at the end of a busy day exploring the far west of Cornwall. With dark beams, cream plush sofas and ornate feature fireplace, this is a gorgeously sumptuous room, where pale, calming colours contrast beautifully with the dark wood and fireplace. Beautifully complimented by antique artwork, there's also a Smart TV for cosy nights in when you want to catch up on your favourite film or box set.
Eating
The kitchen and dining room are semi open plan, creating a wonderful space for convivial entertaining.
The welcoming country-style kitchen has warm wooden worktops, a double butler's sink, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, separate wine fridge, washing machine and all the other essentials. Dual aspect windows mean this is a light, bright space in which to rustle up meals for your loved ones - just perfect!
The dining room is a wonderful space with beamed ceilings, dual aspect windows, antique dining table with accompanying ornate bench and chairs, plus a huge dresser filled with all the tableware you could possibly need for breakfasts, lunches, and dinners.
Sleeping and bathing
There are two stunning bedrooms to choose from.
Bedroom one has dual aspect windows making this a beautifully bright room. The super king-sized bed is a zip-and-link, meaning it can be split in to twin beds if required - perfect for friends or children. This room also has a dressing table, chest of drawers and an impressive antique wardrobe. The family shower room is next door to the bedroom.
Bedroom two has an en-suite and boasts an oh-so-romantic antique four poster double bed, with views over the garden and an accompanying antique dressing table with gorgeous marble topper. The en-suite is a shower room.
Outdoor space
Kildenna boasts a pretty cottage garden to call your very own. Tree-lined and lovely, the large lawned garden is just perfect for games, whilst the leafy boughs offer shady respite on a hot summer's day. Amongst the mature borders dotted with camellias (just lovely in early spring), there's a dining table for alfresco eating, whilst the fire pit is the perfect place to gather on a starlit evening to toast marshmallows on the fire and sip on hot toddies.
Parking
Kildenna has private, off-road parking for up to three cars.
Babies and children
Babies and children are most welcome at Kildenna. A travel cot can be provided on request.
Dogs
