Situated on the north Cornish coast near Holywell Bay, this laid back beauty oozes relaxed surfer style, blended effortlessly with luxurious living. With heated flooring throughout, a covered deck with fabulous outdoor wood burning stove, outdoor bath, king-sized bed and oodles of living space, this is the ultimate beachy love nest for two.
Living
Whatever the weather, Barefoot Beach Hut has plenty of space. With the perfect blend of both outdoor and indoor living, you can choose from the 60's inspired indoor living area with statement Orla Keily wallpaper, plush leather sofa to sink into (and maybe watch your favourite TV series), and cosy lighting. Step outside and you'll find the ultimate outdoor living space - a covered, private decked area complete with wood burning stove and outdoor seating, Kiwi style.
Eating
The fabulously stylish kitchen is filled with everything you'll need to cook up a storm for your loved one behind the silky-smooth white surfaces. There's a great kitchen bar as well for a bite to eat on the go. Outside, there's a fantastic BBQ plus beautiful dining area under the covers - the perfect spot for long, lazy meals - perhaps barbequed seafood caught fresh that morning -with a bottle or two of your favourite tipple, of course.
Sleeping
The en suite bedroom, with super-comfy king size bed, is blissfully beachy with coastal inspired decor in colours of sea grass, aqua and white - just what you need to escape to at the end of the day. There's a nifty door that leads right out onto the deck so you can drift outside and wake up properly with the sun on your face.
Bathing
Have we mentioned the stunning outside bath? Designed perfectly for two, this deep tub can be filled with oodles of hot, sumptuous water and bubbles for the ultimate soak - just lean back and watch the moon and canopy of stars above. Inside, the en suite boasts a heavenly walk-in rain shower - perfect for washing the sand off of bare feet. There's also a separate loo and sink in the utility room.
Outside space
Barefoot Beach Hut really does have the ultimate outdoor space. Drawing inspiration from our cousins in the Southern Hemisphere, the lines are blurred as to where the indoor space ends and the outdoor begins, being filled with a bath, dining table, wood burning stove, BBQ and seating. With the heat from the fire warming the whole enclosed garden and the seating area fully covered, it doesn't matter if the weather is more of a drizzle than a sizzle.
Parking
There is on drive parking for one car.
WiFi
Barefoot Beach Hut has WiFi so if you need to get in touch with the outside world you can.
Babies and children
Babies and little ones up to two years old are most welcome at Barefoot Beach Hut. A travel cot and highchair are provided.

One small dog is welcome at Barefoot Beach Hut. The retreat is a 5 minute drive from Perranporth Beach which is dog-friendly all year around. Please note, there is an additional fee per dog, per week or short break.
In the Area
Just off the Atlantic highway, Barefoot Beach Hut is perfectly located whether you want to be out in the surf or deep in the countryside. Adventuring to the coast from your cosy retreat couldn't be dreamier; don your walking boots and begin this stroll along the country lane which leads to a winding coastal path. Venture along this twisting trail until you reach the entrance to Cornish fields. Meander through the pastures, peek at the wildlife and seasonal flora until you catch sight of the mesmerising ocean views! Stumble upon the picturesque sand dunes of Perranporth (dog friendly all year round!) and relish in its splendour. This scenic wander will take around half an hour, perfect for discovering the beauty of the Cornish coast.
This is a foodie haven too! Follow the same beautiful walk or take a short drive to Perranporth where you will discover the fabulous Summer House Restaurant and The Watering Hole - a bar literally on the beach! The Smuggler's Inn in nearby Cubert is great for food too (make sure to book). The sensational eateries of St Agnes are just a short drive away, whilst up the coast you'll find Padstow - home to Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth and their twist on Cornish cuisine. The Pavillion Ice Cream Parlour and The Callestick Ice Cream Farm both sell fantastic ice cream (and dog friendly ice cream!) just a 5 minute drive away. For active types, why not book yourself some surfing lessons, or if you're a pro, head to Holywell beach, Crantock or Penhale for some of the best surf beaches around. If you'd rather stay on land, pull on your boots and explore the gorgeous South West Coastal Path.
