Neutral shades of grey, blue and off white make Little Tolver a calming retreat away from the bright lights of the big city. Enjoy the best of both worlds hidden deep in the countryside but only a short drive from the coast. With magnificent views across open countryside to St Michael's Mount and the ever popular Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens sat right on your doorstep, all you need to decide is where to venture first?

Living

A spacious and bright sitting room with roaring wood burner and oak floors intermingled with original granite from the farmhouse it once was. Snuggle up on the sofa and unwind with a book, partake in a board game or kick back with a DVD - there's plenty to do in the evening in this luxury homestay.

Eating

The large kitchen/diner is perfect for a family gathering or meal with friends and is well equipped with everything you need to rustle up fabulous meals. There is a separate utility room with washing machine, tumble drier and a Belfast sink in case you need to wash out the wetsuit!

Sleeping

A gorgeous king size French bed resides in the master bedroom overlooking the garden and yellow fields of daffodils in the spring. For maximum flexibility the clever zip and link beds can be made into a double or twins in the second bedroom.

Bathing

A family bathroom sits between the two bedrooms upstairs and is home to a freestanding roll top bath beckoning your arrival for a long luxurious soak. You've also got the added benefit of a large modern wet room with slate floor downstairs; the perfect spot to shower off any leftover sand lingering after a day on the beach.

Garden

A stable door leads out from the sitting room to the enclosed walled garden with raised back terrace, front lawn and beautiful views across to St Michael's Mount. Surrounded by idyllic country views and fresh Cornish air you'll while away hours in this rural hideaway.

There is plenty of parking at Little Tolver, all private and next to the farmhouse.

This was beautiful - quiet peaceful and close to the A30 allowing access to the much of Cornwall. Kitchen was wonderfully equipped - parking no problem and the nice chap who manages it was so very helpful.

A place to return to

Lovely, comfortable and well-equipped cottage set in the stunning Cornish countryside but within easy reach of towns, beaches and places to visit - one of the most relaxing places we have ever stayed in!

Really well equipped and very comfortable- great location with lots to do within 15 miles .

A beautiful cottage, more space even than the pictures suggest. Beautifully simple and gorgeous views from the garden.

We thought the cottage was perfect for our stay and really felt at home. We have stayed in several of your properties and have never been disappointed. Beautiful location and a wonderful holiday.

Lovely quirkly cottage in great location with beautiful views to St Michaels Mount. Be aware the final half mile to the property is up ( or down) a very narrow lane. To walk a dog you would walk down or up the lane first. Though the Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens at the bottom are superb and dog friendly.

This is a secluded location, ideal for adults. Very nice property with stunning views of St Michaels Mount.

Wonderful cottage to escape to with great views of St Michaels Mount from the garden patio. Thoroughly recommend for a Cornish retreat!
