Living
Warm and welcoming, the lovely sitting area to the back of the room has plenty of seating with luscious sofas nestled around the huge wood burner - perfect for cooler evenings. To the front you'll find two squishy chairs ideally positioned to make the most of the large window that overlooks Newlyn's famous harbour - a perfect spot for watching the hustle and bustle of fishing boats.
Subtle soft furnishings contrast with the colourful artwork which bring more than a touch of character to this pretty, lovingly restored Cornish cottage. In addition, there's a SMART television with Netflix for film nights or if you want to catch up with your favourite series.
Eating
The fabulous galley kitchen has everything the cooking connoisseur needs to rustle up feasts. Black granite worktops and sage green cupboards are home to a Neff electric oven and hob, integrated dishwasher, integrated washer-dryer and every other appliance you might need, including the all-important coffee machine.
Newlyn is one of the most famous fishing ports in the UK and a fish and seafood lover's paradise - you're a short walk from some brilliant fish shops, just steps from the harbour, so if you love to cook, make sure to visit and pick up some delicious denizens of the deep to cook back at Meris.
Raised above the sitting room you'll find the dining area, complete with plenty of soft seating - perfect for long, leisurely meals.
Sleeping and bathing
The master bedroom is gloriously spacious with a beamed vaulted ceiling, a luxurious super-king 6ft bed, a television plus an occasional chair to gaze at the sea views or curl up with a book. The en suite has a walk in shower. The second cosy bedroom is a 5ft zip-and-link bed meaning it can be kept as a double or made into twin beds and comes complete with a television, lovely sea views and a bathroom just a few steps away. Both bedrooms come complete with luxurious linens and bedding, whilst the en suites boast heated rails to keep towels fluffy and warm.
Outdoor space
There's a pretty courtyard garden with a table and chairs for outside dining, a coal barbeque and a cantilever umbrella for oh-so-sunny days. As the sun sets, light the candles, pop on the twinkling fairy lights and sit back for an evening of relaxation.
Parking
There is permit parking for one car a short walk away - you can pull up to the property and drop cases off before driving to the space. In additition there are various car parks in the village.
