Bedroom details
1 Bedroom (Sleeps 2 + cot)
Take a step into this delicious pad for two - not only is it fabulously designed, but one peek out of the copious windows and you'll think you've died and gone to holiday cottage heaven. Perfectly situated to make the most of this iconic stretch of coastline, this retreat is aptly named - you'll be pointing to the Mount and passing ships by day and the super-bright stars and the twinkling lights of fishing boats by night. Add to the mix a cosy barn conversion with bags of original features, gorgeous bespoke oak furnishings and a lovely wood-burning stove, and you've got the most romantic seaside hideaway. Bliss!
Living
Cosy yet bright, the living space is dominated by the floor-to-ceiling glass door at one end that overlooks the Cornish countryside and the coastline beyond. In finer weather this can be pulled back to bring the outside in, whilst under floor heating and a fab egg-shaped wood burning stove makes it super cosy in cooler months. There's a gorgeously sumptuous sofa to lounge on whilst the Smart television (complete with mood lighting) comes with a DVD player for those evenings when you just want to cuddle up together and watch a favourite film.
Eating
Sitting at the other end of the living area, the kitchen is a sleek affair in soft greys and warm wood. With everything you need tucked away, this is a perfect set up to create culinary masterpieces for your loved one. Head to Newlyn to pick up the freshest of fresh seafood then bring it back to cook, either in the kitchen or on the barbeque outside - yummy! A cute table by the kitchen with neon pink chairs is perfect for intimate dining whilst outside there's a table and chairs for a spot of al fresco dining.
Sleeping
Boasting bi-fold glass doors that lead out onto the patio, the bedroom is dominated by the huge king size bed, complete with ultra comfy Hypnos mattress. The gorgeous headboard is covered in a fabulous Liberty print - perfect for resting up against whilst reading the Sunday papers or simply gazing at the view with a cup of tea in hand. With a chair and pouf in matching Liberty design there's plenty of seating available as well as built in wardrobes and plenty of cushions and throws to snuggle up in. We particularly love the lighting, including the illuminated 'F' and 'P' and there's air conditioning for those balmy evenings.
Bathing
The fabulous shower room is a perfect combination of natural stone and glamorous design. Just next to the bedroom, it has a huge walk in rainfall shower, under floor heating, attractive carved river stone sink set on thick wooden shelves and a huge heated towel rail.
Outdoor space
With as much space outside as in, the pièce de résistance is the fabulous hot tub, tucked away on the decking but with glorious sea views - perfect to while away a sunny afternoon with a glass or two of something sparkling, or to hop in to on a cool, clear night to watch the incredible night sky. There's a great grassy area and plenty of seating for a lazy spot of sunbathing, a table and chairs for a spot of lunch or breakfast, barbeque and plenty of parking too.
