The epitome of cosiness, you'll find a wood burning stove, with large bi-fold doors in both the open plan living, eating and dining space, as well as the bedroom, where the breath-taking views can be savoured whatever the weather. Outside, uncover soul-soothing spaces for relaxing alfresco, with a bubbling hot tub and outdoor seating to soak up the sun in the warmer months. Stroll to nearby Ludgvan, where The White Hart awaits for evening tipples and delicious pub lunches. Explore the treasures of West Cornwall, from the fishing village of Newlyn to vibrant Penzance and Porthcurno, home to the Minack Theatre. St Ives is also only a short distance by car, home to the Tate St Ives and beautiful golden sandy beaches.
Living, eating and dining
In an open plan design, the living, eating and dining space flows beautifully throughout the retreat, promising a spacious, yet cosy setting for relaxing with exposed beams and granite. At one end, you'll find a sumptuous sofa and foot stool in vintage kilim fabric nestled beside large bi-fold doors. A dream for every season, invite the balmy breeze in on blue sky days, whilst in the cooler months, enjoy snug scenes beside the wood burning stove, watching your favourite films on the Smart TV. For further entertainment, you'll find a Sonos sound bar speaker and an iPad for plotting adventure-filled days on the Cornish coast.
At the far end of the living space, uncover a sleek kitchen in soft shades of grey and warm wood, beautifully complementing the original features of the exquisitely converted barn. Fully equipped for all your staycation needs, you'll find a Neff induction hob and oven, integrated fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Channel your inner barista as you prepare freshly brewed delights, with a Nespresso coffee machine and milk frother. Savour low-lit meals across the intimate dining table for two, positioned between the living space and kitchen to soak up the breath-taking country vistas beyond the bi-fold doors.
Sleeping and bathing
The bedroom at Fingers Point beckons for heavenly slumbers, with a king size bed complete with a Hypnos mattress and headboard in Liberty print. A comfortable chair and footstool pair beautifully with the striking headboard, offering a dreamy spot for calm mornings with a coffee and gripping read. Large bi-fold doors lead onto the patio, inviting the outside in during the warmer months. There's also a wonderful addition of air conditioning to keep cool in the balmy summer nights. For storage, you'll find built-in wardrobes, two nightstands, plus a dressing table and stool.
Adjoining the bedroom, you'll find a sleek shower room, blending contemporary and traditional features with exposed granite and a unique river stone sink. Uncover a walk-in rainfall shower, with the addition of a heated towel rail and underfloor heating.
Outdoor space
There's ample space for relaxing alfresco at Fingers Point, with a patio complete with sun loungers, a dining table for two, plus a Weber charcoal BBQ for freshly grilled feasts. Watch the skies turn from day to dusk, sipping flutes of sparkle from the bubbling hot tub, which is perfectly positioned on a raised decking area to soak up magnificent views of the rolling countryside towards St Michael's Mount.

Parking
There is parking for one car at Fingers Point, located on a private gravel driveway in front of the retreat.
Dogs
Fingers Point welcomes one, well-behaved dog. Please note, there is an additional fee per dog, per week or short break.
In the Area
Explore the beauty of West Cornwall from your front door, with Fingers Point positioned close to St Michael's Way, a walk stretching from Lelant to St Michael's Mount. The unique Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens are within easy reach by car, or around an hour away by foot, with inspiring exhibitions by internationally renowned artists. A gentle half an hour's stroll will find you at The White Hart, a lovely local pub in the heart of nearby Ludgvan. Explore the far west of Cornwall, with Sennen, Porthcurno, Mousehole and Land's End just a short drive away. Visit the charming fishing village of Newlyn, where you'll find freshly caught delights in the harbourside fishmongers, before exploring the vibrant streets of Penzance, where a visit to Loafs bakery is a must, filled with delicious sweet and savoury treats to take back to your retreat. St Ives is only ten minutes by car, where you'll be met with the Tate St Ives, plus a host of fantastic eateries and golden sandy beaches for sun-soaked days by the sea.
