A flight of slate steps lead to this fabulous, minimalistic luxury homestay boasting panoramic sea views. Chy-an-Gargo (Cornish for house on the cliff) is an amazing find with a secluded garden, perfect for unwinding after a day revelling in the rolling surf on the beach below.

A special 'Just for Two' rate applies outside of peak weeks and school holidays. At Chy-an-Gargo the discount is 20%. Please note that only the Master bedroom will be available to you at this rate.

Living
A large hall leads into the stunning open plan living area with white ceramic floors and under floor heating. Modern furniture and a generously sized dining table set the scene. The dining area is set along the fully glazed frontage with views across Sennen Bay and azure blue seas below with French doors leading out to the garden. Cosy up in front of the wood-burner on the stylish sofas or Fat Boy™ bean bag and relax, the house has all the mod-cons you could wish for; a TV with a Blu Ray DVD player, an Apple speaker and numerous DVDs to snuggle up and watch, as well as full WiFi.
Eating
The kitchen is stunning with grey polished stone worktops and white drawer units, separated from the dining and living area by a large kitchen island. The Miele appliances and American fridge freezer, which has an ice making facility, are all top notch and fully integrated. If you don't feel like cooking why not book a private chef who can prepare a beach barbecue or a dinner party whilst you sit back and relax, taking in the superb sea views at any time of the year. Sleeping
Soft grey carpeted stairs lead up to the piece de résistance, the master bedroom with its super king size bed and polished granite wet-room. French doors lead out from here to a decked balcony which overlooks Sennen Cove, with beautiful views over towards Cape Cornwall. The three ground floor bedrooms have heated stone floors and share the large wet-room. The first bedroom features a super king 'zip and link' bed and magnificent sea views. The second also has a super king 'zip and link' bed and patio doors leading out to the cliff top terrace and the third ground floor bedroom has two single beds and children's toys.
Bathing
The large modern family wet-room is downstairs with a sumptuous bath and walk in shower. The heated stone flooring is extended through here. There is also an outside heated shower ideal for slucing off the sand and salt after a day on the beach!
Capacity
This luxury retreat in Cornwall is most comfortable for a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children as in one bedroom there are bunk beds, there are two large sofas and a large bean bag in the sitting room.
Dogs
Two well behaved dogs are welcome at Chy-an-Gargo. Please note, there is an additional fee per dog, per short break.
Please note the beach at Sennen Cove has seasonal dog restrictions.
Garden
There is a huge built-in barbecue, perfect for cooking up a feast! A garden suite is provided to lounge out on, perfect for a spot of al fresco eating watching the ebb and flow of the Atlantic below. Seek soothing staycation moments in the bubbling hot tub, a dreamy spot to forget the world for a while overlooking rolling tides. Please note that some areas of the hedge surrounding the garden are open and children should be supervised.
Exploring
Why not learn to surf at the renowned Sennen Surf School, voted one of the top 10 places to learn to surf in the UK, run by the ever enthusiastic Dave Muir and his superb team then after a day soaking up the rays and the surf on the beach head off to nearby St Ives to enjoy some delicious food in one of the many gorgeous restaurants. The South West Coastal path passes the top of the drive, perfect for accessing some of the most spectacular walks in the UK. The Minack Theatre is nearby too and this part of West Cornwall has some of the most beautiful and unspoilt coves to explore if you fancy exploring off the beaten track. If you want to keep things simple, stroll down to the local pub in Sennen, have dinner at the Beach Restaurant then crash out ready for another heavenly day by the Cornish sea.
