Living and eating

Step out of the elevator into an inviting open plan living and dining space, with sleek interiors and floor-to-ceiling windows and doors that amplify the spectacular sea views across the north Cornish coast. A plush Duresta sofa in shades of navy provides a heavenly setting for evenings of movie magic in front of the Smart TV, with the addition of mood lighting and multi-room audio to create a cinematic ambiance. A joy for all the senses, slide back the glass doors on balmy days and welcome the ocean breeze inside.

Create culinary masterpieces for two in the bespoke kitchen by Cornish designer and maker Rozen. This black walnut kitchen with stainless steel and Silstone quartz worktops is completed with high-end Miele appliances including a two-zone wine cooler, oven and warming drawer, microwave, fridge, freezer, induction hob and dishwasher. A washing machine/drier is tucked away in a cupboard in the hallway.

For intimate meals, you'll find an inviting dining space complete with a round dining table for four, boasting beautiful views beyond the balcony. You'll also find a comfortable chaise chair within this serene space, perfect for moments of quietude with your latest page-turner. On starry nights, enjoy a post-dinner tipple on the balcony and listen to the sea lapping on the sandy shore below.

Sleeping and bathing

Beckoning for nights of serene slumber, you'll find a super-king size bed with a Hypnos mattress dressed in luxurious linens, cushions and throws in tones that beautifully complement the ocean scenes beyond the doors and windows. Let time stand still as you enjoy lingering lie ins and breakfast in bed, accompanied by the most mesmeric views. A chest of drawers and wardrobe provide storage for your belongings, with the addition of two bedside tables with lamps for softly lit reading.

Adjoining the bedroom, you'll find an ensuite complete with a walk-in shower for two. In addition, there's a separate bathroom with a Villeroy and Boch bathtub and separate shower for sumptuous soaks and refreshing pick-me-ups.

Outside space

Step onto the balcony to unveil far-reaching views across the cerulean waters of St Ives Bay towards Godrevy Lighthouse. With a sumptuous corner outdoor sofa at one end and a dining table for two at the other, there's ample space for relaxing alfresco. We know how gorgeous our retreats are, but don’t just take our word for it – here’s what previous guests say about East Penthouse:

Well equipped apartment in an excellent location with amazing views.

Fabulous penthouse, the view was amazing. Couldn’t find a single fault. Perfect location and great parking too. Lovely Housekeeper, Debbie, on hand was very helpful. Can’t recommend enough.

Beautiful apartment with the perfect view.

Perfect location for those wanting to stay in St Ives but be able to walk to various beaches, attractions etc.

Beautiful location and 5 star apartment very Helpful house keeper

We had an amazing stay. The accommodation was faultless and surpassed our expectations.

This is our happy place, a retreat for us as of 2022 4 times each time in March.

The apartment is so comfortable and set for all our needs, the location is perfect, sitting on the balcony looking out onto the sea, capturing sight of seals and rushing into the apartment to use the provided binoculars to observe them and easily, or watching the fishing boats in the morning and knowing that some of the restaurants will be serving their catch later that day.

The knowledge that Debbie and her team take such care when cleaning and getting the apartment ready for your arrival, the cafetière coffee, fresh milk, biscuits, flowers and Prosecco such simple steps but after an 8 hour drive well received.

We will be returning for many years to come

The accommodation was first class. It felt clean and comfortable. We loved the place and would be happy to stay there again if we visit the area.

Brilliant location and very comfortable.

Fabulous property in a great location. Special mention to Debbie and her team who presented the property in immaculate condition and presentation!

The penthouse met all our needs and have now stayed there twice this year and we will also book again at sometime in the future. Thank You.

It is a most beautiful apartment in the perfect location, lovingly cared for by Debbie & her team. It was our third visit & have already booked again for next year.

Great location, breathtaking views and cannot wait to stay again. Outstanding!

East Penthouse is an incredibly comfortable & well appointed property in a stunning location with views across the whole of St. Ives Bay. It is immaculately presented & you can feel any of life’s stresses simply drift away the moment you cross the threshold. Perfect.

Fabulous accommodation. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Great location, spotlessly clean and good internal facilities.

Enjoyed lounging on the very soft sofa with the doors wide open enjoying the stunning view . Amazing kitchen had fun making barista coffee everything appliance was top quality and spotlessly clean .

A fabulous retreat - it met all our expectations from the clear description we had read. The little extras which included Prosecco and chocolates as well as practical, helpful things like olive oil coffee, tea and milk were very welcome. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. We had wild weather including 50mph winds and heavy rains as well as the odd sunny interval - the apartment was a lovely retreat to return to and enjoy the spectacular weather through the extensive glass walls and balcony. Perfect!
