Living

Step into the snug living space, where country cottage charm blends beautifully with modern and vibrant finishing touches to create a warm and inviting environment. Curl up on the canary yellow sofa, bedecked with flamboyant embroidered cushions. Settle beside the beautifully modern wood burner, with an eye-catching flue in shades of copper, catch up on your favourite box sets and must-see films on the Smart TV, and while away cosy cottage moments after days spent exploring the moors. The quirky feathered lamps and unique art pieces are playfully subtle additions to this wonderfully vivid room.

Estochia has a house wide sound system to soundtrack your holiday playlist from room to room.

Next to the master bedroom, you'll find a calming corner with two vintage peacock accent chairs, a spectacular matching feathered lamp and complementary eclectic mirror perfectly placed above. Sit and sip freshly brewed coffee and invite the soft breeze through the patio doors on a still summer's morning, admiring the breath-taking vistas across the rolling countryside.

Eating

The spacious eat-in kitchen is a beautifully curated space for creating culinary delights, with soothing grey units and stunning gold accents. Prepare indulgent meals a deux in the fully equipped kitchen, with an oven, hob and fridge/freezer. There's also a cafetiere for wake-me-up moments of the freshly brewed variety, plus a dishwasher and a washer/dryer.

A unique glass-topped table with two stylish leather bucket chairs sits at the other side of the kitchen, with large floor to ceiling windows to let light stream in, accentuating the resplendent finishing touches.

Sleeping and bathing

The charming bedroom is a romantic retreat from reality, with inviting charcoal tones and an eye-catching wooden feature wall. A sumptuous king-sized bed takes centre stage, adorned in cloud-like linens, velvety cushions, and soft throws. Before the bed, you'll find a striking jet black rolltop bathtub, set within a cute alcove backed with the most gorgeous illusional tiles. Above the tub sits a beautiful vintage feature piece, a grand octagonal mirror balancing the modern and rustic style of this space. You will also find a TV and an eclectic dresser for storing your belongings.

The shower room adjoins the master bedroom, with sleek white tiles, a large walk-in rainfall shower, a gorgeous geometric vanity and matte black sink. There's also a heated towel rail to keep towels fluffy and warm.

Outdoor space

Outside, you'll find a dreamy space to forget the world for a while where a teak dining table and chairs rest beside majestic views across Dartmoor - the perfect spot for alfresco meals on balmy sun-kissed days. Uncover the pièce de résistance of this heavenly hideout, a magnificent copper rolltop bathtub for otherworldly soaks alfresco. Watch the skies turn from day to dusk as you relax within the warm embrace of the bubble-filled tub - this one's for the lovers of romantic escapism.

The Longest Beaches in Cornwall

The Longest Beaches in Cornwall

Cornwall is home to many beautiful beaches: the golden frontiers between land and sea. But which are the longest beaches in Cornwall, and where can you find them?

We know how gorgeous our retreats are, but don’t just take our word for it – here’s what previous guests say about Estochia:

Estochia is the height of luxury in an absolutely beautiful setting. We loved opening the doors, listening to the horses in the nearby fields and to the birds singing while eating breakfast and making plans. It’s a wonderful place to stay.

Beautiful, tranquil and cozy

A fabulously presented, cosy cottage for two (and a dog) in a perfect location on the edge of the Moor - ideal for exploring and hiking the hills but also not too far from the coast if you fancy some sand between your toes! The outside copper bath is a must to watch the sun go down and ease tired muscles after all of the exploring. We will be back!

Beautiful retreat, stylishly decorated in the most peaceful idyllic location. We miss the views already, it was everything we hoped it would be and more. We were so blessed with amazing weather, it would have been even more perfect to have a couple of sun loungers to soak up the last of the summer sun with those amazing views, but the copper bath made up for it! Estochia is somewhere we would definitely like to come back to. A wonderful week away in a little piece of heaven.

Beautifully decorated, comfortable and romantic little hideaway.
