We know how gorgeous our retreats are, but don’t just take our word for it – here’s what previous guests say about Quercus:

A wonderful cottage in which to escape the noisome world, relax and enjoy the quiet life!

An excellent stay - comfortable, spacious, well appointed, all exactly as promised.

Where to start with this gorgeous cottage. From the interiors, to the setting all the way to the wood fired hot tub, we soaked up this place for a whole week and we’re reluctant to leave day to day, let alone at the end of our week. The property is stunningly designed and proper thought has been put into everything that is in Quercus. It truly is a home from home. Cannot recommend it highly enough, it is an ideal place for those searching for an ‘off grid’ week to get away from the usual rat race.

It was beautiful, a slice of heaven and tranquility.

A truly magical cottage set in beautiful surroundings.

How lucky were we to book Quercus on the hottest week of the year. A glorious cottage beautifully decorated in a modern style with muted, natural tones throughout. A stunning upper sitting room. Comfortable sun loungers on comfortable decking area. We also certainly enjoyed the wood fired hot tub situated in a shaded area which certainly some under the stars!

Our second family holiday at Quercus, accommodation and location perfect, an absolute tonic. Loathed to leave. Ann and family plus Oscar ??

Beautiful cottage with the most amazing grounds.

Absolutely amazing we will definitely re-book.

It was a first class property in every way - we loved it.

Super facilities in a great location.

What a wonderfully tranquil and peaceful property, set in beautiful surroundings, and very stylishly decorated with all the amenities you could need.

A beautiful well equipped cottage in an idyllic location, the perfect place to get away from it all.

We had a wonderful stay at Quercus. The property was beautifully decorated and had all the home comforts.

Quercus strikes a perfect balance between luxury and proximity to nature which is exactly what we needed to decompress from the hectic regime of daily life!

Fabulous location for a restful break

Thank you Quercus for a wonderful two week family holiday. Accommodation absolutely superb set within the most idyllic surroundings. Reluctant to leave, but with the happiest of memories to hopefully repeat in the not to distant future. Ann Wallis en famille plus Oscar the dog.

An incredible get away for a week in an idyllic location. Both the house and the grounds were absolutely beautiful and a perfect setting. On our last day we woke up to deer grazing in the garden right outside the house and it was a perfect ending to a wonderful holiday. We will absolutely be visiting again!

A beautiful, stylish and comfortable house and wonderful grounds. Must be amazing in the Summer but enjoyable at any time of the year, would love to return.

We all loved everything about this house!

Quercus is set in a secluded location yet it is within easy driving distance of many walks (both forest and moorland), villages, beaches, pubs , cafes and shops. The house is very comfortable and time spent there feels like a real break. We were there in the Winter and had a fantastic holiday!
