Living
The heavenly living space offers a serene spot to reside, featuring velour sofas in earthy hues inviting moments of calm. For evenings cosied up beside the bioethanol stove, a Smart TV promises endless entertainment. Seek quietude in one of the two window seats with deep feature window ledges, just perfect for moments lost in the far-reaching vistas.
Eating and dining
Pretty in blush tones, the charming kitchen sets a beautiful scene for dream feasts together. Crafted cabinetry features integrated accoutrements, including a fridge freezer, induction hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. A breakfast island takes centre stage for slow morning coffees freshly brewed in the Nespresso coffee machine. Offering a selection of dining scenes, choose from a nkuku table for pared back brunches beside divine views of Hope Cove, or gather around the main dining table with seating for up to eight and equally mesmeric sea views.
From the kitchen, step outside the glass doors to the front terrace, where outside seating proposes alfresco banquets overlooking the bay.
Sleeping and bathing
Delmare is home to three beautiful bedrooms sleeping up to six guests.
The first bedroom is the beautiful master suite, located on the ground floor. Home to a king size bed overlooking the golden sands of Hope Cove, it tempts for lingering lie-ins with the softest linens. Painted wainscoting and period detailing pay homage to the cottage's historic roots, while sumptuous furnishings and embellishments promise utmost comfort. An additional space is framed by patio doors that open to the sea-view terrace and features a cosy wicker armchair with matching pouffe in Kit Kemp design. This bedroom is complete with a private ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower decorated in neutral tones.
Delmare's second bedroom is found on the first floor and boasts heaven-sent vistas over the cove. Forest green hues exude tranquillity, while Rapture & Wright artistry inspired by Ernest Gimson pair a feature wall and headboard. For serene slumbers, a king size bed is swathed in luxury linens and topped with cosy pillows and throws.
With characterful, sloping ceilings, the third bedroom is just perfect for children or friends. Encouraging the sweetest slumbers is a super king size bed, which can also be transformed into two singles upon request. Draping each bed are the finest quality linens, while cushions and throws promise added comfort. Windows open to bay views, while an armchair offers somewhere to simply watch the world go by.
Delmare features a family bathroom on the first floor with a bath and a shower overhead, idyllic for dreamy soaks after days exploring the coast.
Outdoor Space
The outdoor space tempts with dreamy oceanscapes over Hope Cove, promising a heavenly corner of the world to savour fresh morning coffee and Mediterranean-style evenings gathered outside. While away golden hour moments beside the soft sigh of ocean tides, just steps from the shore this seaside sanctuary is made for escaping reality to reset your life balance.
Parking
There is private parking for two cars with an EV charger at Delmare.
Babies and children
Children and one babe-in-arms are most welcome at Delmare. A cot, highchair, stairgate, bed bumper and plug covers are available upon request.
Dogs
Two dogs are welcome at Delmare. Please note, there is an additional fee per dog, per week or short break.

Set in the oceanside realm of Hope Cove in the beautiful South Hams, Delmare resides within its own enchanting bubble. Just a few metres from the doorstep, an array of stunning walks and interesting attractions offer plenty to see and do, as well as a variety of eateries for romantic meals and family feasts. For home-crafted cuisine in your own retreat, Stein's at Home, Lobster Box, and Dartmouth Fine Foods all create delicious meals prepared by chefs and delivered to your door. Meanwhile, for a moreish restaurant experience, The Crabshell in Kingsbridge, The Victoria Inn in Salcombe, and The Village Inn in Thurlestone are renowned for their seasonal menus of expertly curated dishes. Closer to home, The Hope and Anchor in Hope Cove is equally as inviting and just footsteps away. Welcoming diners since the eighteenth century, this former smugglers' haunt specialises in home-cooked food using fresh local produce and offers in-house and alfresco dining.
For unforgettable adventures, trace footsteps along the shoreline, seek captivating walks along the South West Coast Path, and relish the beauty in nature from Delmare.
