This blissfully modern barn conversion is perfect for both families and friends, with three equally inviting bedrooms, a spacious open plan living with a modern wood burning stove, kitchen and dining area and a gorgeous split garden, featuring a bubbling hot tub to while away evenings beneath star studded skies with a unique rooftop terrace with breath-taking views. Dog owners rejoice, Little Moor has access to two acres of private moorland for walking and exercising your dogs, with stunning countryside views - it's a great picnic spot too!
Living
The remarkable open-plan living room is spacious, yet has a cosy feel, with deep tones and contrasting textures to create a homely space for settling down at the end of the day. The brick feature wall beautifully compliments the pieces of furniture, which include a designer suede coffee table and a stylish wooden cabinet. Sink back into one of two plush designer sofas, both dressed with plump cushions and watch your favourite box sets on the Smart TV. A modern ceiling hung log burner takes centre stage, perfectly positioned in the middle of the room to create a warming atmosphere on chilly nights. You'll also find a beautiful burnt orange occasional armchair with a leather footstool, a blissful spot to savour a moment of calm with your latest page turner.
To keep toes toasty and warm, there is underfloor heating throughout the ground floor.
Eating
A sleek kitchen can be found next to the open plan living room, a soothing space for rustling up tasty meals, with a rustic breakfast bar that seats six at its heart. It's well-equipped, with a Smeg oven and hob, an integrated fridge-freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave and a washer-dryer. There's also a wine cooler for chilling those pre-dinner tipples and an air fryer for preparing culinary delights.
Sleeping
There are three equally beautiful bedrooms to choose from at Little Moor.
The first bedroom, dressed in deep rich shades, offers a soothing space to unwind at the end of the day. It has a zip-and-link bed for flexible sleeping arrangements, making it great for friends or little ones. There's ample storage, with a bespoke wooden wardrobe, dressing table and two bedside tables.
The second bedroom is dressed in calming shades of blue, with a sumptuous king-sized bed, bedside tables and a chest of drawers. There is also a Mustard wardrobe in the shade Slate for storing your belongings.
The third bedroom has the luxury of being turned into a private suite, making it ideal for different families or multi-generational retreats. The bedroom comes with a comfy king-sized bed and is relaxing space, with gorgeous rustic décor and cushions and throws in shades of rich gold and amber. For storage, you'll find a large free-standing wardrobe, plus two cute bedside tables.
Each bedroom comes swathed in luxurious linens and throws to promise the perfect setting for heavenly slumbers and lingering lie ins.
Bathing
Bedrooms one and three have ensuite shower rooms with large overhead showers, perfect for wake me up ablutions. There is an additional family shower room located on the ground floor, which is adjacent to the lounge. Each shower room has a heated towel rail to keep towels fluffy and warm. You'll find a bathroom opposite the second bedroom, which has a gorgeous copper roll top bath - just made for long bubble filled soaks after days spent exploring the moors.
Outdoor space
Step outside to find a beautiful garden, split over two levels. On the first level sits a dining table and chairs for six, with a BBQ for alfresco dining on balmy summer days. There is also a bubbling hot tub for relaxing under star studded skies. A rooftop terrace lies on the second level, a magical space to relax and enjoy your surroundings. You'll find a high-top dining table for six, which makes for the perfect pre-dinner drinks setting. In addition to this, there is a corner sofa, two sun loungers and two occasional chairs for sun-soaked moments of bliss.
Enjoy access to two acres of enclosed private moorland, a wonderful offering available to all guests at Little Moor. The moorland is excellent for dog walks, with peace of mind that they can run free within an enclosed space, or to find a quiet spot to enjoy a picnic with benches, dining table and chairs, sun loungers along with epic countryside views. For games on the moor, you'll find five-a-side football goals, plus a cricket and badminton set.
Parking
There are two designated parking bays next to the paddock off the main drive. A third parking bay is available on request.
Babies and children
Babies and children are most welcome at Little Moor. Please bring your own baby equipment with you.
Dogs
Up to two dogs are welcome at Little Moor. Please note, there is an additional fee per dog, per week or short break.
In the Area
Little Moor is located within the pretty Dartmoor village of North Bovey, complete with a village green, a church and a wonderful high-end pub, the Ring of Bells. Enjoy eleven owner recommended walks straight from your front door, ranging from a mile and a half to twelve miles, allowing you to take in the beauty of Dartmoor without having to step foot in your car, should you wish. Venture to the beautiful Becky Falls, Lydford Gorge and Wistman's Wood, all just a short drive from Little Moor. The pretty villages of Lustleigh and Widecombe-in-the-Moor are well worth a visit, plus Chagford with its open-air swimming pool and great eateries, such as the Three Crowns, with high end traditional pub grub. Moretonhampstead has some wonderful coffee shops, ideal for breakfast Bovey Castle, with a spa and golf course, are within walking distance of Little Moor. If you're looking to enjoy a spot of shopping in a beautiful historical city, Exeter is under an hour away. Totnes is also worth a visit, with a quirky vibe and an excellent steam railway, which runs from Totnes to Buckfastleigh.
