Living
A picture of rustic romance, the welcoming living room and adjoining dining area epitomise country cottage charm at Serendipity. The perfect space for gathering during laid-back mornings and cosy evenings, the living area reveals an inviting space bestowed with heritage features and arranged with a Duresta sofa and armchair. Set within an original fireplace and period mantel, a wood burning stove radiates warmth in the cooler months, while the addition of a Samsung Serif TV promises motion picture magic.
Alongside the living room, the welcoming dining area is framed by bespoke carpentry and a Neptune dining table. Hugged by four dining chairs and banquette seating for two, this space proposes delicious feasts and cherished moments shared between family and friends. Setting the ambience, a Roberts radio plays favourite playlists.
For rapt hours lost between pages or gathered over afternoon aperitifs, an elegant garden room also awaits. Dressed in tranquil tones, it has two sofas topped with plump cushions and glass patio doors that open to the garden and welcome floral breezes.
Eating and dining
A space where soothing interiors and alfresco living seamlessly combine, the stunning kitchen is a dream. Bathed in calming hues, the off-white walls pair with bespoke sage cabinetry, integrated with a white Belfast sink and a range of accoutrements. Assisting keen chefs are an Everhot oven, fridge and freezer, and dishwasher. For those aromatic morning espressos, there is a Sage Bambino coffee machine. Craft delicious repasts, from leisurely brunches to candlelit suppers, and make the most of the delightful dining area inside or the garden's outdoor seating for Eden-esque bliss.
Sleeping and bathing
Serendipity has two sumptuous bedrooms and one shared bathroom.
The first bedroom beckons with an irresistibly comfortable king size bed enswathed in the finest linens. Reflecting the earthy tones beyond the alcove window is a warm palette of ivory, forest green, and cinnamon. Admire the verdant vistas from the comfort of the bed or nestle into the window seat to drift into restful repose.
In the second bedroom, enjoy the pillowy embrace of the king size bed, draped in a luxurious duvet, super-soft linens, and a cosy throw. The bed's rattan headboard is complemented by organic inflections throughout, and a pretty window seat offers halcyon garden views. A serene space, soft shades adorn the walls of this bedroom, accented by brass notes and finished with heritage prints and botanical illustrations.
Residing on the first floor, the family bathroom in white features a Neptune washstand and walk-in Hansgrohe shower, complete with a heated towel rail for utmost comfort. An additional WC can be found on the ground floor.
Outdoor space
Step into a secret garden escape at Serendipity, where flourishing greenery, manicured lawns, and a suntrap terrace await. Take a seat in one of the quiet corners, reclining on benches below wisteria-clad archways and sheltered, honey-hued walls. Or gather on the beautiful terrace next to the lily-topped pond, illuminated by strings of festoon lights. For the lovers of Mediterranean escapism, the pretty wicker garden table with four chairs and parasol is a treat on both sun-kissed days and balmy nights - all the more inviting with the addition of a gas barbecue. Savour the poetic allure of the garden with its chorus of birdsong and elegantly curated spaces, relaxing as enchantment stirs all around.
Parking
There is one resident's parking space available at Serendipity, with further roadside parking located adjacent to the grassy knoll.
Babies and children
Children and babies are most welcome at Serendipity. A travel cot, highchair, and stairgate are available upon request.

Surrounded by bucolic countryside, this rural retreat is perfectly placed for outdoor pursuits, with numerous scenic walks nearby. Situated on both the Monarch's Way and Cotswold Way, Serendipity also lies within a short distance of breathtaking natural landmarks and attractions, such as nearby Dover's Hill and Broadway Tower. Especially charming, the National Trust's Hidcote features 20th century gardens that bloom in countless colours in spring and make for an ethereal setting for serene walks. For woodland strolls in pine-scented air, Batsford Arboretum in Moreton-in-Marsh is a magical destination, while for timeless forays, the Medieval market town of Stratford-Upon-Avon promises intrigue at every turn.
Surrounded by a bountiful larder, Serendipity enjoys proximity to a number of renowned farm shops stocked with local, seasonal produce. One of the best, Daylesford Organic Farmshop lies just down the road in Moreton-in-Marsh and is a must-visit for its neatly stacked shelves of artisan goods. For homecooked creations, the Grade II-listed Bakers Arms is just 100 yards away from the doorstep and beguiles with its stone walls, open beams, inglenook fireplace, and traditional pub fare.
