Nestled in the sleepy Gloucestershire village of Weston-sub-Edge, The Honeypot is perfectly positioned to explore the beauty of the Cotswolds, with Chipping Campden and Broadway just a short drive away, both home to a host of great restaurants and independent boutiques. After days spent exploring postcard-pretty towns and villages, return to your divine dwelling for restful evenings, whether you're settled beside the warmth of the wood burning stove, or sat beneath starlit skies clinking flutes of sparkle next to the glowing firepit. The Honeypot offers the perfect base for starry-eyed souls to relax, unwind and explore the spellbindingly charming Cotswolds.

Living

A concoction of cosiness, the living space is simply a dream, with two linen sofas and luxurious, soft furnishings in muted tones, which beautifully complement the exposed stonework. Settle in for evenings in front of the double-sided wood burning stove, watching your favourite series on the Smart TV, with access to all the must-have streaming services. You'll also find a Loewe Bluetooth speaker to soundtrack your holiday playlists.

Eating and dining

Create mouth-watering dishes in the modern country kitchen where pockets of exposed Cotswold stone continue, paired beautifully with pearly white worktops and calming neutral cupboards. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, induction hob and oven, washing machine, tumble drier, blender, plus a Kitchen Aid Nespresso for preparing freshly brewed morning pick-me-ups. Savour delicious breakfasts and low-lit suppers around the rustic dining table, promising the perfect setting for intimate meals à deux.

Beside the kitchen, there's a sweet reading nook, perfect for immersing yourself in your latest page turner on slow paced days.

Sleeping and bathing

Dream-like slumbers await in the heavenly bedroom, with soothing neutral tones, exposed Cotswold stonework and rustic beams. Sink into the sumptuous king size bed, where a grand headboard and complementary cushions and throws ensure a restful night's sleep is guaranteed. For storing your belongings, you'll find a rustic chest of drawers, plus a beautifully stylish accent chair.

Central to the retreat, you'll find the tastefully curated shower room, with a pebble textured feature wall and natural-toned tiles. A large walk-in shower awaits for refreshing wake-me-up moments, with the addition of heated flooring and a heated towel rail to keep towels fluffy and warm.

Outside space

Step outside to uncover a beautiful dry stone walled garden, a tranquil space with manicured greenery, a paved patio, and verdant lawn. A sleek dining table with rattan chairs for four is perfectly positioned to bask in the sun on balmy summer days, savouring alfresco feasts with your special someone. Picture yourself in an Italian daydream, preparing stone-baked delights on the Ooni Karu pizza oven. Enjoy freshly grilled feasts on the charcoal barbeque, which doubles up as a firepit to cosy up beside post sundown. The garden is perfectly enclosed for canine companions to explore too.

We know how gorgeous our retreats are, but don’t just take our word for it – here’s what previous guests say about The Honeypot:

Fabulous cottage, beautiful interiors. Very cosy with wonderful wood burning stove. Lots of logs outside which is a great plus. Walking distance to a really friendly pub with quality restaurant. We will return.

Absolutely fabulous in every way. Very stylish furnishings and lighting. Beautiful enclosed courtyard garden. We loved the peaceful and quiet location. It’s a superb cottage. A visit to Cotswold Luxe, is a must too !! We really enjoyed our time there. Rob and Sue Blanshard

Honeypot cottage was an ideal base to explore the Cotswolds, lots of nice walks from the doorstep and a local gastro pub within walking distance. The cottage was beautifully decorated and was a lovely cosy space to get back to after some brisk autumnal walks. The owners were really accommodating and helpful and we would love to return one day!

Absolutely beautifully appointed and comprehensively equipped - everything provided - bedding, ice bucket, coffee pod machine, weighing scales, - I could go on - and a lovely welcome hamper with fizz, biscuits, eggs etc they really have thought of everything!

Perfect for a weekend getaway.
