Lovingly restored with endless characterful features and contemporary touches, our historic retreat promises a heavenly Lake District adventure for four guests and their canine companions. With an eclectic interior style, a wood burning stove, a rolltop bathtub and a heavenly walled courtyard garden complete with a balmy hot tub - a spellbinding escape exists for the seekers of country living moments. Settled only moments from the River Eden, the North Pennines AONB and a short drive from the Lake District, Kiri is delightfully situated to explore the all-year round beauty of this breath-taking corner of North-West England.
Living and eating
Step insider to uncover a bright, open plan living and kitchen space, where country charm and rustic details blend with quirky interior pieces, including an Aztec-print ottoman. A large, charcoal grey corner sofa and a snug armchair offer the cosiest of spots to indulge in your favourite box set on the Smart TV with Netflix, whilst a sheepskin-draped window seat is a snug nook to lounge with a paper in soft, afternoon sunlight. For entertainment, there are plenty of board games, books, and a Marshall radio.
Residing in the centre of this space is a stylish, concrete-topped dining table for six, where breakfast banquets and indulgent suppers await.
In the fully equipped kitchen, pretty geometric tiling and bespoke, sage-toned cabinets make for a dreamlike place to create culinary treasures. You'll find all you need for rustling up feasts, including an oven with a hob, Nespresso coffee machine, a microwave, dishwasher, fridge, and a freezer.
Guests will be able to use the private Laundry Room which is located across the courtyard.
Sleeping & Bathing
Discover the master bedroom, where tones of midnight blue and mustard promise a serene setting to slumber. A king-sized bed awaits, topped with luxurious linens, whilst settled in the corner is the stunning, clawfoot bathtub, a breath-taking spot for bubble-topped moments. Surrounded by a multitude of sumptuous leather seating options is the wood burning stove - a unique addition to this heavenly space. For storage, you'll find a built-in wardrobe and a chest of drawers.
Through the adjoining door is the contemporary en suite, promising geometric feature tiling and a spacious walk-in shower.
Equally romantic with rustic beams and a red-brick feature wall, is the second bedroom. This gorgeous space offers a king-sized bed, two beside tables an occasional leather armchair and a vintage chest of drawers.
Just next door is a modern en suite, complete with a walk-in shower for rejuvenating wake ups.
Outdoor space
Uncover the sweet, walled courtyard garden, where a spacious lawn, pretty lavender borders and countryside vistas make for enchanting staycation moments. On the patio, a cedar, electric hot tub promises a soothing sanctuary to unwind after days exploring atmospheric landscapes. A teak, outdoor dining table for six awaits for afternoon aperitifs, whilst a wooden bench is an exquisite coffee spot on bright, dewy mornings. Enclosed with quaint picket fencing, Kiri's garden is also perfectly secure for canine companions.

There is plenty of parking in the Edenhall guest car park just around the corner from Kiri.
Babies and children
Babies and children are most welcome at Kiri. A travel cot and highchair are provided on request.
Dogs
Two dogs are most welcome at Kiri. Please note, there is an additional fee per dog, per week or short break.
