Alfresco living is simply a dream at Lochview, with a landscaped garden and decked spaces home to an outdoor dining area, firepit area, plus a Scandinavian wood-fired hot tub and sauna. Set 200m above the world-famous The Three Chimneys, Lochview is perfectly positioned for culinary connoisseurs to visit this multi award-winning restaurant. For history enthusiasts, Dunvegan Castle is under 20-minutes away by car, whilst for spellbinding scenery and enchanting walks, the Old Man of Storr and The Fairy Pools are well worth exploring. One of the most beautiful beaches on the Isle of Skye, visit Coral Beach, just over half an hour away, promises crystal-clear waters and white-sand shores.
Living and dining
With far reaching views across Loch Dunvegan, the seamlessly designed open-plan living and dining space ensures the breathtaking backdrop can be savoured at every turn, whether you're soaking up the scenery from a luxurious leather armchair, or preparing a lavish feast for four around the granite-topped kitchen island. At the heart of the room is a double-sided glass front wood burning stove, promising cosiness in abundance in the cooler months.
In a palette of earthy tones, the living area invites for cosy evenings settled on the sofa, with sheepskin rugs and complementary cushions for added comfort. There's ample seating for four, with the addition of two armchairs beside a modern rustic coffee table. Relish relaxed moments in front of the television, with a large cinema-style screen and Meridian Audio sound system for added drama. As conversation flows over games of scrabble, prepare timeless tipples from the luxurious cocktail trolley. Floor to ceiling doors open onto a decked patio, perfectly positioned to welcome the outside in on mild afternoons.
Blending contemporary design with opulent touches, the kitchen and dining space beckons for heavenly suppers, with grand floor-to-ceiling doors that allow light to fill the room. At the far side of the space, uncover a shaker style kitchen in rich tones, topped with an elegant granite worktop and kitchen island. The kitchen is fully equipped with a range of integrated appliances, from two fridges, a freezer, oven with warming drawer, induction hob, and a dishwasher. For brewed beverages of every variety, you'll find a Quooker hot tap, Nespresso coffee machine and a Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser. A washer/dryer can be found in the separate utility cupboard.
At the other side of the kitchen, there's a modern dining table for six. In the warmer months, open the vast glass doors to welcome the balmy Hebridean breeze as you dine with your nearest and dearest.
Sleeping and bathing

Colour drenched in soft pink tones, the first bedroom features an inviting super king size bed in boucle detailing. Cloud-soft bed linen is accompanied by cushions, quilts and throws in complementary hues and textures, inviting for blissful moments of rest at Lochview. There's hanging space for storing belongings, with the addition of bedside tables topped with beautifully crafted table lamps to create a serene setting to unwind.
For those luxurious self-care rituals, step into the ensuite shower room with an inviting rainfall shower and separate handheld attachment, adorned in scalloped glass tiles in lustrous shades of gold. Ensuring towels are fluffy and warm, you'll also find a heated towel rail.
Swathed in soothing shades of powder blue, the second bedroom boasts ethereal views across the expansive Loch Dunvegan and hills of the Outer Hebrides. Savour the dreamiest slumbers in the boucle super king size bed, dressed in cosy quilts, throws and cushions in porcelain tones. Elegant table lamps set the scene for restful moments after dark, with the addition of bedside tables and hanging space for storing your treasures.
Complete with a large rainfall shower with a separate handheld attachment, the ensuite bathroom is decorated in a stylish design, with mermaid-inspired tiles in metallic nuances. You'll also find a heated towel rail to keep towels fluffy and warm.

Parking
You'll find parking for up to two cars at Lochview, located over cattle grid.
Babies and children
Babies and children are most welcome at Lochview. A travel cot and highchair are available on request.
Please ensure that babies and children are not left unattended by the fireplace or in the garden, where you will find a stream.
Dogs
We are unable to welcome pets at Lochview, but please note that this retreat may not be suitable for guests with pet allergies.
