Lower occupancy rate
A special lower occupancy rate applies outside of school holidays, peak weeks, bank holidays, Christmas and New Year. For four guests and under the discount is 20%. At this rate, the Master bedroom and the second bedroom will be available for you.

Living
Spend snug afternoons and cosy evenings in the living room, complete with a Smart TV for family film nights and a beautifully rustic wood burner for relaxing by the fire. Original wooden beams and an exposed stone fireplace add all the country-cottage ambience to this decadent house. Unwind on the soft, pastel toned sofa or get lost in your book on the cushion-clad armchair. Wherever you settle yourself, relax in comfort fireside; luxury has never been so homely!
There’s also a handy utility/shower room, complete with a washing machine, tumble-drier, shower and toilet.
Please note that as this is a traditional and charming cottage, it may not be suitable for guests with mobility constraints, as there are steps in between rooms.
Eating
Grand and gorgeous, this country kitchen features hints of rich turquoise; the ultimate balance of modern and rustic décor. Complete with an electric range cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and the all-important wine fridge - it boasts all the mod-cons you’ll need to cook up a storm! The hub of this space centres around the granite topped island, chill your favourite liquor in the wine fridge and wind down on the bar stools with an evening tipple.
We adore the elegant dining room perfect for family feasting, adorned with vintage touches and antique treasures.
Sleeping
A sweeping staircase leads from the chic entrance hall to four beautifully furnished bedrooms on the first floor. Bedroom one boasts a king-size double bed, decorated with warm tones and thoughtfully selected vintage furniture. The spacious en suite shower-room is complete with a heated towel rail to keep your fluffy towels warm and toasty. Uncover bedroom two, a quaint and cosy space with king-size double bed and finished with a country-chic style. The sweet sash window gives the feeling of a snug cottage, in this spacious family home. Bedroom three is a sweet little nook with a gorgeous 'zip and link' bed, which can be made into a super-king or twin with charming interiors. In bedroom four you’ll discover a luxurious boudoir awash with charm, including heavenly interiors and a 'zip and link' bed which can be made into a super-king or twin.
Bathing
There is a family bathroom with bathtub and shower, en suite bathroom with rainfall shower and a downstairs shower room.
Outdoor space
In the pretty, sheltered courtyard you’ll find sweet garden furniture, the perfect nook for breakfast al fresco or sunset gazing with a glass of sparkle in hand. With a barbeque area and large luscious garden, you’ll have plenty of space for outdoor games. If you fancy sailing along the Helford with your own boat, there’s a space for your boat trailer on the driveway!
Hidden amongst idyllic countryside, there is a neighbouring cattle farm so you may hear the soft sounds of livestock combined with sweet birdsong, you’ll truly feel at one with this rural setting. Adjacent to your hideaway, you’ll find the owners’ home, along with their two dogs. Tremayne Farmhouse is a perfectly charming escape.
Please note that Tremayne Farm is a working farm, so there will be farm traffic passing by at times on the nearby lane, which all adds to the gloriously pastoral lifestyle!
Parking
There is private parking for up to four cars.
Babies and children
There are two travel cots and two highchairs for babies and small children at Tremayne House. Please bring along your own bedding for the travel cots. A stairgate is also available on request.
Dogs
Two well-behaved dogs are very welcome at Tremayne House. Please note, there is an additional fee per dog, per week or short break.
WiFi
Tremayne Farmhouse has Superfast WiFi, so if you need to stay in touch with the outside world you can.
Setting
Please note that Tremayne Farmhouse is set in the same vicinity as a couple of other properties, one of which is the owner's home and the other is a holiday cottage.
In the Area
With so many places to explore in the area, you’ll discover an array of sights to see and things to do.
If you’re an unashamed foodie, The Shipwrights Arms is a cosy thatched gem just a 1-and-a-half-mile stroll away from the property. Take a stroll to the idyllic Helford River to dine on the water’s edge or explore the local coves nearby, it certainly is an area of natural beauty!
If you’re looking to get back to nature, venture to Trebah and Glendurgan Gardens to experience breath-taking displays of local flora, whilst Trevassack Lake promises open water swimming and a range of watersport activities to enjoy. As the most southernly point and designated Area of Natural Beauty, The Lizard is awash with stunning scenery along its coastline including Kynance Cover, Lizard Point and Mullion Cove. The pretty fishing villages of Coverack and Cadgwith are must-visits to immerse yourself in the local Cornish culture.
Further along the coast you’ll find the quirky town of Falmouth, with a bustling harbour this university town offers unique shops, Maritime Museum and an abundance of excellent eateries. You’ll even find the quaint Gyllyngvase Beach with restaurant for perfect ocean vistas, Falmouth certainly does have it all! Fancy sailing further afield, you can catch the ferry or drive to St Mawes and the beautiful Roseland Peninsula. For incredible food, head to nearby Trengilly Wartha, an award-winning pub, whilst The Potager is a fabulous café surrounded by gardens.
