In the Area

Step out of your door and wander into the heart of Mousehole, probably the most iconic fishing village in Cornwall. Hugging the coastline and protected by Raginnis Hill, it's also one of the oldest with parts of the harbour wall dating back to the twelfth century. Today the village maintains its olde-worlde charm, with narrow cobbled streets, slate roofs, whitewashed cottages and brightly coloured paint work. It's perfect for foodies with a good selection of restaurants, cafés and delis, and is of course just a hop, skip and a jump to the world-famous fishing village of Newlyn! For things to do, St Ives is only 20 minutes' drive away on the north coast, whilst of course there's St Michael's Mount and Marazion to explore on the south. A hidden gem and a must-visit is Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens - a botanical beauty filled with art as well as incredible sea views and an excellent restaurant. Further afield a visit to the Lizard is a must as an AONB, whilst the harbour village of Portheleven has a fab selection of eateries. Alternatively, pop in the car and head further west to Porthcurno and the Minack Theatre, or further around to Cape Cornwall and Sennen Cove. For a walk from your doorstep, join the South West Coastal Path and walk to nearby Lamorna Cove - approximately five miles (there and back) of glorious sea views and a good yomp to blow away the cobwebs!

Laid back and luxurious, our dog friendly cottage for four in Mousehole promises the best of coastal living, with stunning sea views and a harbourside terrace.

We know how gorgeous our retreats are, but don’t just take our word for it – here’s what previous guests say about Crabbers:

Would return in a heartbeat perfect nest for the two of us and our dog??

It was absolute perfection from the moment we walked through the door. Cannot fault the cottage in any way whatsoever. We will be booking again.

Loved it, fantastic retreat for a perfect stay!

Crabbers was the perfect stay. Everything was ideal from the location, interiors and cleanliness. The perfect way to celebrate our engagement. We can’t wait to come again.

Great little cottage for a break in Mousehole. Immaculately presented. The bed was comfortable. Definitely would recommend.

Crabbers is a fabulous cottage in an amazing location in the village. It was so comfortable and cosy, lovely quality facilities and was just perfect for our Christmas stay. With wild weather it was super to watch the waves breaking on the the harbour. Thank you for preparing it so beautifully. We would definitely book the property again. Guy, Jane and Rufus.

Outstanding accommodation - beautiful in every way!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Crabbers cottage. The decor was just beautiful, made it quite difficult to leave to explore Mousehole. The cottage was furnished and equipped a very high standard. The welcome happer was amazing, the locally sourced produce delicious. Having the basics of bread, butter and jam along with some treats very well received by all. We will definitely be booking again.

Lovely place, great location and amazingly comfortable beds!

Crabber is the perfect holiday cottage! The standard of presentation when we arrived was excellent. It is well equipped, stylish and the views from the bedroom are amazing.

We’re already thinking about returning to this lovely cottage. We used to live in Cornwall and it has made us want to return for good.

We were wowed by the cleanliness, tidiness and overall look and feel of this charming cottage. All furnishings were of excellent quality and we spent a very happy and comfortable week. The location is perfect, the sea views are glorious. We made ample use of the little south facing patio across the narrow street, having breakfast and sometimes lunch in full sun. We literally fell in love with the place.

We loved the location and the cottage was so warm and welcoming also the beds were so comfortable , we will definitely be booking this cottage for next year.

Cosy comfortable cottage loved the place - enjoyed the welcome goodies had everything possible! Mousehole very quaint and adorable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Crabbers. The beds were super comfortable and the location was beautiful. Very well equipped with everything you could need and a lovely hamper on arrival. A picture postcard cottage with a cosy interior. Much smaller than we expected but it just added to the charm. It was amazing to wake up to the view of the sea in the morning and to be able to sit out and enjoy the little patio with a cup of tea. Mousehole is such a traditional quaint town with some great little shops. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a true Cornish experience with some added luxury.

Lovely house in a wonderful location right by the sea, in a fantastic little town. So special to be able to have a sea view from your bedroom, and to be able to pop down for a swim in the harbour 2 mins away.

Truly gorgeous cottage, great location, it's like you are in another world, a really nice one!

Beautiful cottage and fabulous location. Wish I could have stayed longer!

We love Crabbers, we have stayed many times and it never disappoints.

Lovely cottage—great location and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you and look forward to returning!

This is a gorgeous property. Absolutely perfect in every way. I will be back soon!

An enchanting and atmospheric place to stay, even in the depths of winter. We didn't watch television once, it was just lovely to enjoy the log burner and read a good book. A fabulous post-Christmas getaway. We absolutely loved it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Crabbers. Perfect location - right by the sea, lovely to be able to watch the waves and Mousehole amenities very close by. We would love to return!

A very comfortable house, with amazing views.

The cottage is perfectly positioned in the village with easy access to the shops and restaurants in Mousehole and the sea views from the windows are incredible! Thank you for such a lovely stay.

Both the cottage and location were perfect! Exceeded expectations in every way. Would recommend to all friends and family and would love to return. A perfect retreat in a gorgeous location.

Fantastic house and stay - we always love coming to Crabbers! Would thoroughly recommend for couples/friends and our dog loves it! Perfect for cosy nights in by the fire!

Lovely stay. Gorgeous little village.

Excellent position glorious sea views from all windows. Nice garden for relaxing in. Cottage very well equipped. Lovely arrival hamper and bottle of bubbly to start you off. Comfy beds very clean and tidy highly recommend

An amazing comfortable house that feels like home! Perfect location , was so nice to look out at the sea. The patio area was brilliant and we used it every day!

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful cottage. We had everything we needed for a restful week by the sea. Thank you so much. Have already recommended it to our friends..

The cottage is in a great location, just above the harbour with views of the sea. Well appointed and comfortable, we enjoyed a few nights in with the wood burner and a glass of wine. Just wonderful.

It was an amazing stay and we would book again !

Seaside boutique chic - well appointed.

Beautifully decorated, very homely and the beds are amazingly comfortable. The shower is brilliant and everything is spotlessly clean. Kitchen is well equipped to cook at home though a larger fry pan would be a great addition with 4 people (though we managed perfectly fine) especially when CV19 limits options so greatly to eat out in a small village with so many daily visitors & a comfortable farmhouse dining table with 4 chairs is great! Jo is a wonderful housekeeper, very attentive and a friendly polite voice at the end of the phone. Would love to come back to Crabbers....given the chance!

A really fabulous cottage, well worth the long drive to Cornwall.
