Living
Gwella's two gorgeous living spaces reside upstairs, with windows overlooking the glistening ocean, Mousehole's characterful rooftops, and St Michael's Mount beyond. High-beamed cathedral ceilings and oak flooring offer a calming space in which to unwind, while neutral tones blend effortlessly with the traditional granite feature wall, with touches of blushed accents bringing a sumptuous warmth to the room.
Sink into the deep grey, velvet Loaf sofa as the wood burning stove crackles and casts the room in a fire-warmed glow, or recline on the gorgeous chaise lounge with a book from the shelf. For a truly Cornish repose, nestle in one of the bespoke window seats and gaze out to sea, watching the shifting colours of the tide before you.
In the study, a comfy three-seater sofa boasts mesmeric views across the sea towards St Michael's Mount. Enjoy entertainment from the smart TV, or simply sit back and relax as soulful melodies play through the Sonos. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the skylight that fills the room with sun to the blackout blinds that craft a cosy space when closed.
Eating
The bespoke oak kitchen is a culinary dream, whether you love waking to the aromas of freshly made Nespresso coffee or crafting a wholesome feast with the built-in SMEG oven and induction hob. The leathered granite worktops and a blush-hued statement wall add a beautiful finishing touch to this space, while soft-close drawers ensure every moment remains utterly tranquil.
You'll find everything you could need during your stay in the curated space, from the SMEG toaster and kettle to the large fridge/freezer you can fill with delicacies from one of Mousehole's delis, which offer everything from fresh bread, antipasti, and homemade cakes to Cornish wines, beers, and spirits.
The dining area sits beside the kitchen, with a sleek oak table and chairs inviting you to start and end your day in relaxed style. Sip your morning coffee on the cushioned window seat or savour feasts gathered around the table.
Underfloor heating runs through the living and dining areas, ensuring your stay is wrapped in toasty warmth throughout the cooler months.
