This pretty seaside abode is just adorable and located in the most enviable position in the heart of St Ives, close to the harbour beach, set back slightly amongst the cobbled and winding streets. From the moment you step through the door, you'll find a peaceful retreat where the hustle and bustle of the busy town can be shut out easily should you wish, so you can relax in this lovely three-storey retreat. With underfloor heating on the central and lower ground floor, a wood burner and a freestanding slipper bath in the bedroom upstairs, this is a perfect couple's getaway, whether it's spring/summertime or the autumn and winter months and also benefits from being dog friendly, so your four-legged friend doesn't have to stay at home.
Living and eating
There are two living spaces - the main living, dining and kitchen space is open plan and the first thing you see on entering the property. With underfloor heating and a beautiful Clearview wood burning stove, this is a warm, welcoming and laid-back space. There's a cosy, squishy sofa to curl up on in front of the fire, with a Smart TV/DVD player, just in case. The kitchen, to the back of the room, is stylish and bright, equipped with everything an amorous chef might need to create meals for their loved one, including an AEG gas hob and oven, dishwasher, washing machine and that all-important Nespresso coffee machine. There's a rustic farmhouse-style kitchen table with built in bench and additional chairs which seat up to six comfortably, should you have guests visiting.
In addition, there's a snug on the lower ground floor complete with a comfortable Willow & Hall sofa and large ottoman, plus a Smart TV with built in DVD player - perfect for evenings in, watching your favourite film with a glass or two of something special.
Sleeping
The oh-so-romantic bedroom lies at the top of the property amongst the exposed eaves, with gorgeously exposed white wood floorboards. The bed, tucked away in the corner, is softly lit, making it a dreamy place to slumber. There's also a television if you feel like watching your favourite box set from the comfort of your bed. In addition, there's a beautiful slipper bath for long afternoon soaks with a heated rail to keep towels fluffy and warm, plus an occasional wicker chair.
Bathing
In addition to the stunning slipper bath, there's an en suite loo and basin, whilst there's a wet room on the lower ground floor for wake-me-up showers. Toiletries, fluffy bath towels and luxurious bath robes mean you'll be super cosy.
Outdoor space
There's a bench to the front of the retreat, making it a perfect spot to sit with a morning coffee and look out down to the beach and the sea, which is a stone's throw away. There's also an outside shower for washing sandy feet, wetsuits and dogs after a day out exploring, together with space to hang up wetsuits.
Babies
Babes in arms are welcome, up to 12 months. Please bring your own baby equipment and please call us to book in a baby on 01872 553491.
