Living and eating

Step inside our divine dwelling into an elegant entrance, leading to the stunning open plan living space where vaulted ceilings and handsome beams form a light, spacious design offering both luxury and comfort. From the considered palette of soft tones, to carefully curated artwork and abstract artefacts adorning this calming space, Anouk is undeniably an aesthetic dream. Settle on the comfy leather couch for film nights with the Smart TV, or simply cosy up together to savour the mesmeric flames of the contemporary wood burning stove. You'll also find an internet radio with Bluetooth speaker to select the perfect soundtrack for your staycation moments.

At the opposite end of this beautiful space lies the stylish kitchen, divided from the living area by a stone island with unique breakfast bar feature. Promising a sleek design with gorgeous accents, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to craft delectable dishes. With the opulent addition of wine cooler for those pre-dinner tipples, and the all-important Nespresso Vertuo for slow morning coffees - life's little luxuries reside here. In addition, a washer-dryer can be found in the kitchen for use during your stay.

Elegant bifold doors open from the kitchen space, leading out onto the idyllic courtyard garden where a table and chairs rest. On warmer days, open the doors to welcome the outside in whilst creating culinary delights, later retiring to the patio for a glass of wine as dusky skies draw in.

With soothing neutral and blush tones, the heavenly bedroom which opens out into the beautiful courtyard garden through bi-fold doors, is just made for savouring lingering lie-ins. The king-sized bed with a soft grey headboard is swathed in luxurious linens, cloud soft bedding, and charming printed cushions. You will also find two elegantly detailed bedside tables, an occasional chair, and a fitted triple wardrobe offering plenty of storage for your stay.

The equally lovely en suite with neutral interiors and aged brass finishes, comes with a large walk-in shower for rejuvenating wake up moments and a heated rail to keep towels warm and fluffy.

Outdoor space

Step outside to uncover the leafy courtyard garden, a tranquil setting with a stunning Zinc water feature filled with healing quartz crystals. There are two benches offering a quiet spot to appreciate the fresh country air and bird song, whilst the delightful sage-green bistro dining table with two chairs is a dream spot to unwind, whether you're sipping wine at golden hour or indulging in a dose of alfresco dining. We know how gorgeous our retreats are, but don’t just take our word for it – here’s what previous guests say about Anouk:

We came here to visit our daughter who has just moved to Ludlow and Anouk was the perfect place to stay. It is lovely and spacious and very stylish.

We love the town of Ludlow and walking around exploring. While here we tried Sourced Pizza which was delicious and a Sunday roast at The Charlton Arms which we highly recommend.

Thank you so much for the lovely welcome pack and the chocolates were delicious. We would definitely love to stay here again.

A tastefully furnished property in a stunning location with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. A lovely welcome hamper and a friendly welcome from the owners.

Anouk is 5 stare accommodation in a fabulous location , its location for the town is perfect even though it’s in a very peaceful location. It also has wonderful walks on the doorstep the best of both worlds we hardly used the car. Eateries coffee shops a plenty too will definitely be returning to Ludlow and Anouk.

Go and give Anouk and Ludlow a go, you’ll love it!

Thank you for creating the perfect bolthole from which to explore Ludlow and the surrounding area. Anouk is so well thought out - you have literally thought of everything. We would love to return. Best hamper ever!

Anouk was an excellent and a first class accommodation for a stay. Beautifully furnished throughout with a wonderful garden courtyard to relax after a day sightseeing or walking. The owners hamper for guests was most generous.

Anouk is a wonderful cottage, conveniently located to all the amenities in Ludlow whilst having a sense of seclusion and luxury. We knew we were in for a real treat from the warm welcome we were greeted with by the owners and the marvellous arrival hamper! Lots of local walks and nice places to eat and drink within walking distance. The property had everything we needed and more. There were times when we preferred to grab some food from the local market/deli and then spend the evening in the cottage! We particularly enjoyed listening to the sound of church bells whilst enjoying a lovely glass of wine in the garden!

We spent a lovely week in Anouk, and like everyone else so far, we had a very special time. The garden and courtyard at Anouk were thoughtfully created with every detail considered and provided. We will definitely recommend both the cottage and Ludlow. Thank you so much for the gorgeous welcome pack.

Wonderful cottage for two in a quiet corner of Ludlow yet the town centre is very accessible, well designed interior and very pretty secluded garden.

We have enjoyed a lovely week at Anouk. The rain tried its best but could not spoil it for us. Ludlow is a lovely town, lots of local eateries and shops. The castle was a real highlight. Anouk is immaculate, beautifully clean and well stocked. The gardens, both front and back, are beautiful and we enjoyed our conversations with Karin about how they developed.

Thank you for creating such a well presented and quiet space from which to enjoy Ludlow and the beautiful walks direct from the door.

What a beautiful house! It is in a lvely location, with a great choice of retaurants. Bistro 7 was outstanding and good value. Many thanks for the thoughtful welcome pack - the chocolates were beautiful and amazing.

We came away for a low-key but very special celebration and could not have picked any better in coming to Anouk and Ludlow. Karin and Rob have thought of everything to create the most luxurious and comfortable little bolthole - we could not have asked for more. We were fortunate to have fantastic weather so stayed in to eat for two of three nights. The courtyard is just so beautiful and relaxing at any time of the day or evening. We had lazy days moching around Ludlow and into Mortimer Forest. What a gorgeous long weekend - we do not want to leave!

High quality and tastefully furnished property with luxury products. We have particularly enjoyed looking out to the beautiful courtyard and watching the ever changing spring weather! Lots of inspiration to come back with for our own home and garden. A Perfect base to explore Ludlow and all the great restaurants and pubs, with plenty of walks too. We love our own home and when we come away we look for something special - Anouk is just that. So pleased to meet Rob and Karin - very friendly and welcoming. Thank you for the Easter gifts, so kind and thoughtful.

From the zen-like courtyard garden to the effortlessly stylish interior, this is a wonderful find. We were made to feel very welcome and Karin gave us local insider tips to make the stay truly special.

Great location, beautifully appointed, private off-road parking, 2 min walk to Ludlow centre (up hill), lovely and quiet, welcoming hosts - overall Fabulous.

Anouk is an exquisite retreat with everything one would need for a relaxing getaway. We both felt totally comfortable here and were made most welcome by Karin and Rob, who have clearly given much thought and consideration to every aspect of this beautiful cottage. There is so much to explore in Ludlow from your doorstep, river and forest walks, the beautiful town and its many interesting streets and mews, plus of course the market place and the wonderful castle. Csons restaurant is a must for foodies. We will be coming back again for sure!

A treat to celebrate a birthday and a need to relax for a weekend - Anouk proved to be a luxurious and perfectly situated answer! The hosts, Karin & Rob, are charming and extremely friendly. Full of local knowledge but balanced attentiveness with leaving us to our own devices. We have had a very lazy but totally relaxing weekend - the car didn't move! We have explored the town (and some great shops!), visited the castle (definitely worth a stop) and did a few walks - the broad walk along the river and a walk up into Mortimer Forest for some beautiful viewpoints. The town is full of great places to eat but we only had time to visit a few - Bistro 7 (great food & very friendly owners) CSONS at the Green Café (delicious breakfast/brunch in a gorgeous spot) and The Angel (VERY quirky but good tapas). Ludlow is a gorgeous place to visit...and so is Anouk. Thank you for a fabulous weekend.

A stunning retreat, brilliantly located to explore foodie Ludlow and its surrounds. Not a single amenity missing. Wonderful stuff.

Most amazing place and we had a wonderful time. Beautiful attention to detail and everything thought through carefully. We hope to return again very soon. Thank you also dfor the very welcoming greeting.

Absolutely fabulous place - really cosy, amazing interior, equipped with quality kitchen equipment. Immaculate condition, super stylish and comfortable decor. We had an amazing time, so thank you. We will definitely be back!
