Pursue enchanting adventures, where the wild beauty of the Ceredigion coast and Cambrian mountains lie on your doorstep.

Living

Uncover Bryndelyn's open-plan living area where a collection of intimate spaces reside for serene days and tranquil nights. The heart of the home, the living room paints a picture of traditional charm with exposed beams, a period fireplace, and pretty alcoves adorned in tasteful touches. Gathered around an antique campaign chest for utmost serenity, two sofas and a deep armchair rest before a wood burning stove, ready for fireside moments bathed in an amber glow. Turn on the Smart TV for endless entertainment, curl up with your latest page turner, or settle into easy conversation as embers crackle in the fireplace. For hushed moments, a separate snug offers a cosy leather armchair and an additional wood burning stove, creating the perfect escape for peaceful solitude.

Eating and dining

In a beautiful wraparound design, the kitchen and dining areas hug either side of the living room. With painted stone walls dressed in copper pots and spotlighting, the kitchen proposes slow mornings and candlelit evenings crafting flavoursome feasts. Fall in love with its original flagstone floors, tailored cabinetry and antique touches, and make use of the abundant worktop space and accoutrements for kitchen creativity, such as a Smeg dual-range oven and dishwasher. For those peaceful morning moments, a Kitchen Aid coffee machine serves aromatic blends, while making an occasion of each delicious repast is beautifully restored 19th century dining table, overlooked by rare botanical prints, as well as an outdoor table and chairs.

Completing the picture is a stunning laundry room, styled in calming slate blue hues for practical elegance.

Sleeping and bathing

The master bedroom is a serene idyll, complete with a divine double bed for blissful slumber amongst the finest linens. A magnificent, gilded mirror adds a touch of grandeur, whilst the ever-changing views of the rolling valleys from the alcove window paint a living portrait to enjoy from the comfort of your bed.

A cosy space to rest, the second bedroom promises a cocoon of sophisticated charm. Wrapped in stunning blue Chinoiserie wallpaper, this space harmonises cottage cosiness and palatial opulence for the most perfect retreat from which to start and end each day. At the centre, a double bed is enveloped in the highest quality linens and softest pillows and throws, paired with a striped footstool.

The bathroom is a sanctuary for self-care rituals, where organic textures and brushed copper accents are beautifully contrasted with white tiles and garden glimpses. A French antique copper bathtub takes centre stage, inviting you to luxuriate in bubble-topped soaks, with the addition of a separate rainfall shower.

Outdoor space

Step into Bryndelyn's tranquil private garden to uncover a sun-soaked space framed by greenery. Immerse in the fresh country air, and savour your first morning coffee with the sound of birdsong, or gather around the dining table for six for alfresco feasts in the dappled sunlight. A gas barbecue encourages chargrilled banquets and sunset soirees under a sky painted with lilac and gold.

In the Area

From the doorstep of Bryndelyn, a wanderlust world awaits for leisurely exploration. With a magnetic allure, the Ceredigion coast promises over 60 miles of towering cliffs and mesmerising scenery and is a must for salt-kissed walks. For coastal beauty with a more urban pace, the town of New Quay is a short drive away and promises a plethora of places to eat, such as The Lime Crab and The Blue Bell Bistro. New Quay is also one of the best places in the UK for wildlife watching, beloved for its renowned dolphin watching boat tours that depart regularly from the harbour in season. A family-run bee farm, Afon Mel, also resides on the fringes of the town and has been selling award-winning honey for over 20 years.

For coastal pursuits, Llangrannog is a particularly beautiful beach that nestles between dramatic cliffs, served by an artisan ice-cream parlour, Caffi Patio. Nearby Aberporth and Penbryn are both enchanting oceanside destinations - the latter of which is made all the more special by The Plwmp Tart café. Meanwhile, for fairytale forays into ancient woodland, Brefcha Woods is only a short journey away from Bryndelyn, while further afield, the Cambrian Mountains call for unforgettable walks amongst river valleys and craggy summits. For an elevated dining experience, the 2 Michelin Star Ynyshir can be reached from Bryndelyn for masterful repasts. Otherwise, seek delectable treats from local producers, such as Caws Teifi Cheese, for heaven-sent moments in your Boutique homestay.
