With two bedrooms, one of which has a zip-and-link king size bed, Primrose offers flexibility, whether you're travelling with family, friends or couples. Under three hours from London, it's the perfect escape from the city, whether you seek to discover the beautiful Malvern Hills, explore Worcester with its awe-inspiring cathedral, or soak up the history of nearby Hanbury Hall and Warwick Castle.
Living, eating and dining
In an open-plan design, uncover the inviting living and dining space, with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams. Boasting panoramic views of rural Worcestershire from the windows and floor-to-ceiling doors, savour moments of calm as you relax and dine at Primrose. At the far side of the space, you'll find a comfortable corner sofa from French Connection, with cushions and throws which beautifully complement the soothing hues of the walls and kitchen cabinetry. You'll also find a leather armchair nestled beside the window, perfectly positioned to enjoy unplugged moments with your latest page-turner. Setting the scene for cosy evenings, a modern curved floor lamp softly lights the room, whilst for entertainment, you will find a wall-mounted Smart TV, with access to all the must-have streaming services. For added privacy, there are electric blinds fitted above the windows and doors.
Craft culinary masterpieces in the modern Shaker-style kitchen, with blue cabinetry and sleek quartz worktops. The kitchen is fully equipped with a Neff oven, induction hob, an integrated under counter fridge with a freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. You'll also find a Nespresso coffee machine for preparing freshly brewed delights. Savour slow mornings and relaxed evenings as you dine at Primrose, with a rustic dining table which comfortably seats up to six.
Sleeping and bathing
Step into the light-filled master bedroom, with vaulted ceilings, exposed brick and beams. Setting the tone for heavenly slumber, the feature wall in shades of rose beautifully balances with the cushions and throws that rest on the king size bed. For storing belongings, you'll find a hanging rail, chest of drawers and bedside tables either side of the industrial-style metal bedframe in inky hues. Bijou brass lamps rest above the bed, inviting serene moments with your latest read before you retreat to dreamland.
Welcoming flexible sleeping arrangements, a king size zip-and-link bed awaits in the second bedroom, dressed in calming neutral tones. For stowing treasures, uncover a built-in wardrobe, with the addition of two bedside tables with lamps either side of the bed.
Residing between the two bedrooms, unveil the family bathroom, with a walk-in shower. Relish rainfall soaks, with the addition of a handheld shower attachment in brass hues, beautifully complementing the marble tiles and panelling in soft sage.
Outdoor space
Inviting alfresco living from dawn to dusk, the patio at Primrose promises blissful vistas of the rolling hills beyond Mount Barns. Savour your first morning coffee under blue skies, with a comfortable rattan bistro set for two, plus further seating for four around the outdoor dining table. A gas barbeque is available for freshly grilled feasts, with the addition of a firepit for relishing cosy moments beneath the stars.
Spa facilities
For all on-site guests at Mount Barns there is a fantastic outdoor spa facility available for guest use. Boasting rolling country views, this idyllic space is a dream in every season, with an outdoor pool, sunken whirlpool hot tub, ice bath and a sauna. The pool is heated from April to October and is also available for cold water dips outside of this period. Summer days are best spent poolside, with loungers for basking in the sun, and bistro tables in cosy corners. With a wealth of health benefits, relish rejuvenating moments as you relax in the sauna and channel your inner Wim Hoff with icy dips in the cold-water plunge bath. Restore a sense of calm with massages, reiki, reflexology or yoga which can be booked at The Nook, the on-site treatment room. Rinse muddy paws at the dog wash station after exploring your beautiful surroundings, with ten acres of private grounds waiting to be uncovered. Savour mindful walks in the wildflower meadow up to the ancient oak tree, the dreamiest spot for champagne picnics.

Please note that the pool does not have a hard cover or fencing and ensure that children are not left unsupervised around the pool.
Parking
There is one allocated parking space for Primrose, located a short distance from the retreat. Additional parking can be found in the overflow carpark.
Babies and children
Babies and children are most welcome at Primrose. A cot and highchair are available upon request.
Dogs
Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome at Primrose. For washing muddy paws, you'll find a dog wash station within the shared Please note, there is an additional fee per dog, per week or short break.

Relish wild swimming adventures at Broadfields Wild Swimming Lake, a safe-water swimming open water lake facility just five minutes away. Explore the charming town of Droitwich Spa, known for its history in salt production, with a vibrant cultural scene and a range of attractions, festivals and year-round events. Soak up the history of Worcestershire with a visit to Harvington Hall, an Elizabethan manor house only ten minutes away, whilst the National Trust owned Hanbury Hall is just twenty minutes by car, with a country house and gardens. For walking and cycling trails with breathtaking landscapes, visit the Malvern Hills, located twenty-five minutes from Primrose. For the lovers of medieval history, Warwick Castle is also well worth visiting, with over 1,100 years of history within the castle grounds. Explore the cathedral city of Worcester, rich in culture and just fifteen minutes away, hosting a range of events from music festivals and medieval quests throughout the year. Take in the interesting architecture of Worcester Cathedral, described as one of the most interesting cathedrals in the country due to its range of architectural styles. With an array of independent boutiques, the city is also great for retail therapy days.

Offering a unique farm-to-table dining experience of Michelin-star quality, Native in Tenbury Wells is well worth visiting, whilst for fresh seafood The Quayside in Stourport-on-Severn marina is a fantastic option too. With a coffee shop, pizza oven and deli, venture to Checketts for local delicacies, whether you're savouring stone baked delights in their café, or selecting treats to savour from the comfort of your retreat. Promising the best panoramic countryside vistas, dine at the three AA Rosette restaurant, 1919, with a sensational a la carte and seven-course tasting menu.
