As an environmentally conscious eatery focused on sustainable living, the menu is largely locally sourced including produce from delicious Baker Tom’s Bread and Olfactory Coffee Roasters.
The menu is as imaginative as its surroundings, making Slice a dreamy spot for a brunch date or a hearty lunch stop. There’s a varied menu of dishes for vegan or veggie options, as well as catering for dietary requirements and intolerances. From colourful ‘Buddha Bowls’ to the meaty ‘Helford Burger’ and the famous Slice sourdough flatbreads, there’s a lunch to suit any bunch.
If you just fancy popping by for a coffee, there’s an indulgent list of beverages to suit your mood. Whether you’re a pumpkin latte, coconut cortado or a cold blend double espresso frappe, the list of delicious delights will have coffee lovers in a frenzy!
After many return trips to this magical spot, the Slice twist on the Cornish classic is my favourite treat; the Cheese Cream Tea is every cheese fanatics dream come true, offering cheddar or blue cheese, alongside savoury scones, apple cider chutney and redcurrant chilli jam. Just heavenly!
The cosy inside space includes a toasty log burner and minimal rustic décor, Slice is the perfect hideaway on a gloomy day or a botanical haven in the outside seating area during blissful sunshine. This means your four-legged furry friends are more than welcome to lunch outside with you too.
Whatever the weather, Slice is a serene escape from reality.
