From the house, you can take the path down to the village, meaning it's just a short stroll for a revitalising dip in the turquoise waters of the Cove or an atmospheric meal in The Cadgwith Cove Inn. From here, you can also join the South West Coastal Path towards Lizard Point and Kynance Cove in one direction and Coverack in the other, both dramatic and beautiful stretches of coastline where you might catch a glimpse of dolphins, seals and sea birds along the way. Pop in the car and take the pretty country roads to discover exquisite sandy beaches, from Coverack with its safe, shallow cove to the wild and dramatic Kynance Cove - also a fabulous spot for sunset watching. Other hot spots include Mullion Cove, Lizard Point, the pretty village of Helford and the impressive Trelowarren Estate, not to mention Roskilly's, where both the ice cream and farm animals will be a hit with children. Further afield, you can head west towards St Michael's Mount, Penzance and out towards Land's End, whilst make for the North coast and St Ives is a must for its beaches and shops. The Helford River is dotted with sub-tropical gardens such as Trebah and Glendurgan, whilst the seaside town of Falmouth and along the Roseland Peninsula is well worth a visit too.
