Lower occupancy discount
A special lower occupancy discount rate applies outside of school holidays, Christmas, New Year, Easter, and other bank holidays. If there are just two guests staying the discount is 20%. When Kilter House is booked for two guests this is on the basis that only the master bedroom is used during your stay.

Living
The sumptuous sitting room is just a dream in blues and golds, whilst sash windows with window seats flood the room with natural light. Two three-seater blue velvet sofas and two gold velvet tub chairs nestle around the stunning fireplace complete with wood burning stove and granite lintel, making it the perfect place to come together at the end of a busy day exploring. A stunning Moroccan Beni Ourain wool rug, large coffee table and carefully considered furnishings complete the luxurious look of this amazing room. In addition, there's a Smart TV, DVD player and a well-stocked double bookcase full of books, DVDs and games to keep you entertained.
Across the hallway from the sitting room, you'll find a study and quiet space complete with a small desk and a sofa - perfect for catching up on an email or two during your stay.
Eating
The immense kitchen and dining area is just perfect for gatherings and celebrations. This room showcases an exquisite blend of vintage charm and modern luxury with a slate floor, whitewashed walls and views out over the courtyard combined with all the top-notch appliances you'll need to rustle up anything from snacks to dinner parties. For traditionalists, there's a cosy Aga (available to use between mid-November and March) tucked within the original fireplace whilst an electric Neff hob and oven lies opposite on the granite topped central island. In addition, there's a Smeg retro fridge with small freezer box, two built in dishwashers and all the other appliances you might need.
Lying next to the gorgeous kitchen is the majestic dining table that extends to seat eight people with eight grey upholstered high-backed chairs and views over the courtyard - a wonderful entertaining space! The Colonial style grey sideboard with stone top houses a plethora of beautiful crockery and glassware to turn a meal into a special occasion.
In addition, a microwave, large built-in freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer can be found in the utility room.
Sleeping
Take the main staircase up and you'll find the luxurious master bedroom. This delightful room boasting triple aspect windows has stunning views over the fields to Coverack in the distance. The Normandy rattan and mahogany super king size bed, resplendent in luxurious linens, throws and cushions, beckons you invitingly for super long lie ins, whilst there's plenty of storage space, a well-stocked bookcase and a St James button-backed chair for when you want a quiet moment to yourself, gazing out over the countryside.
There are three further bedrooms which can be accessed via the staircase in the kitchen.
The larger of the two bedrooms has a gorgeous Mustique-inspired super king bed, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers, leather-backed chair and a darling window seat overlooking the beautiful flagstone courtyard and fields beyond.
The third bedroom is a zip-and-link bedroom, meaning it can be set up as either twin beds (perfect for little ones) or as super king double bed. It has plenty of storage space and oh-so-pretty views over the rolling hillside.
For children or teenagers looking for their own space to reside, a cosy fourth bedroom can be found on the first floor, complete with a day bed which can be made up as a double. On the ground floor, you'll find a snug study with the addition of a sofa bed. Please note that the day bed and sofa bed are best suited for younger party members.
Bathing
There's a bathroom complete with freestanding, claw-foot bathtub for two plus separate shower next to the master bedroom. In addition, there's a shower room with large walk-in shower next to the second, third and fourth bedroom. A further wet room on the ground floor accessed via the utility room, perfect for showering off small children after a day at the beach or in the muddy fields.
Outdoor space
The pretty cottage garden comes complete with a courtyard that has a wonderful dining table and chairs plus a barbeque - perfect for alfresco meals. There's also a firepit with Nordic-style seats, the ideal spot for watching the stars whilst toasting marshmallows. In addition, there's decking with sofas and a coffee table. Bedecked with twinkling lights, the garden is simply magical for summer evening gatherings.

There's a large private car park with space for three SUVs or more.

In the Area
Set just outside the gorgeous coastal village of Coverack on the Lizard, Kilter House is in a truly beautiful setting. The village itself boasts an incredible beach of sand and pebbles, a fabulously safe place for swimming and paddle boarding with azure calm waters, sandy bottom and relatively shallow for quite a distance. Dotted around the harbour edge are a wonderful selection of eateries, from fish and chips and ice cream to fine dining, The Lizard is an AONB with the South West Coastal Path being an excellent way to see the coastline. Hot spots include the iconic Kynance Cove, Mullion Cove, Lizard Point, the pretty villages of Helford and Cadgwith and the impressive Trelowarren Estate, not to mention Roskilly's, where both the ice cream and farm animals will be a hit with children. Further afield, you can head west towards St Michael's Mount, Penzance and out towards Land's End, whilst make for the North coast and St Ives is a must for its beaches and shops. The Helford River is dotted with sub-tropical gardens such as Trebah and Glendurgan, whilst the seaside town of Falmouth and along the Roseland Peninsula is well worth a visit too.
