Eating and dining
Through the hallway decorated with art pieces by Peter Blake, the open-plan kitchen, diner and snug awaits. Marrying woody textures with organic inflections and nautical hues, this inviting space makes for an idyllic heart of the home. At one end, a contemporary kitchen resides ready for social gatherings and culinary preparations. Drawing the eye, a deep blue kitchen island takes centre stage, perfect for joining your nearest and dearest over foodie spreads and popped corks. Exuding timeless appeal, off-white kitchen cabinets and steel accoutrements balance the contemporary and the traditional, complemented by a Smeg oven, Nespresso coffee machine, glass-fronted wine fridge and boiling water tap.
Bridging the space between the kitchen and dining area, the beautiful snug with a richly cosy navy sofa and comfortable armchair calls for relaxed moments. Decorated with coastal-inspired artwork and warmed by a wood burning stove in winter, its invitation is hard to resist. Take a seat in the cushioned cocoon of the sofa and drift into relaxed repose or easy chatter as day turns to dusk. Flowing from the snug, the dining area takes its place beside windows overlooking flourishing garden flora. Centred around a farmhouse-style wood dining table, it provides seating for all the family to gather over delectable meals that run long into the evening.
