Complete with a sumptuous wood burning stove and a hot tub, Klyra promises a heavenly escape from reality, whether you're escaping with friends or plotting a romantic getaway from it all. Set within the grounds of Manor Farm in the verdant Wiltshire village of Avebury, Klyra is wonderfully positioned to uncover the county's ancient landmarks, from the World Heritage status Avebury Stone Circle nestled a short stroll away, to the quaint market town of Marlborough promising a postcard-pretty day out.
Setting

Living, Kitchen and Dining
Step inside to uncover Scandi-style open-plan living dreams, where minimalist yet luxe interiors set the scene for soul-soothing staycation moments. At the heart of the living space rests the contemporary wood burning stove, with ample seating to cosy up together including a textured two-seater sofa and two grey lounge chairs. Set just behind is a round mango wood dining table seating up to four, set beside French doors leading to the patio. For entertainment, there is a Smart TV and a Sonos speaker, along with a selection of board games and books hidden within the rustic wooden sideboard.
At the opposite end of the space awaits the colourful kitchen, promising a wooden slat feature wall, and bespoke, timber cabinets in a burnt orange, topped with quartz stone worktops. Set beneath a scalloped rattan pendant is the central island, with woven wood stools for a casual brunch setting. Everything is on hand for those looking to create culinary magic, including an induction hob, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, an under the counter fridge with a freezer drawer, kettle, toaster and a dishwasher.
Please note, guests will have use of a communal washing machine and tumble dryer during their stay.
Sleeping and bathing
Gazing out to the garden and adorned in soft neutrals, the pretty master bedroom is a light and airy space in which to slumber. You'll find a king size bed, two bedside tables, a dressing table with a stool and a hanging rail. In addition, a freestanding oval shaped bathtub offers a serene spot to indulge in bubble-topped soaks. Adjacent you'll find an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in, rainfall shower.
Next door awaits the equally lovely second twin bedroom, promising soothing interiors and botanical-inspired artwork, with zip-and-link beds for those seeking flexible sleeping solutions. In this space there is also a writing desk and a hanging rail. Opposite you'll find an additional bathroom with a shower and heated towel rail.
Outside space
Venture outside to find the pretty courtyard, where a secluded patio space offers a lovely corner to reside on sun-kissed days. Alfresco pursuits of all occasions await around the wooden dining table with four chairs, from brunches paired with the sounds of country birdsong, to star-lit soirées savoured with a glass in hand. Nestled in the corner is the wooden, electric hot tub designed for those seeking a dose of relaxation.
Whilst the courtyard is not enclosed, you'll find a small garden located behind the retreat for exercising canine companions, complete with a gate leading to a public footpath. There is also an outdoor shower with hot water for rinsing muddy paws.

Two dogs are most welcome at Klyra. Please note, there is an additional fee per dog, per week or short break.
Babies and children
Babies and children are most welcome at Klyra. A travel cot and highchair can be provided on request.
Parking
You'll find one sheltered parking spaces at Klyra, with an electric car charging point on site for guest use. Additional parking may be available on request, alternatively there is on-street parking nearby.

Set overlooking the beautifully verdant countryside of Wiltshire in Avebury, Klyra is ideally placed for exploring the region's rich heritage, whether you're a history lover or culinary enthusiast. A short stroll from the retreat lies the ancient Avebury Stone Circle, along with The Red Lion, a cosy, country-style pub topped with a thatched roof, promising perfectly framed views of the stones. Uncover the lives of the Tudors, Georgians and Edwardians at Avebury Manor House, a stunning Grade I listed 16th century home with spectacular gardens nestled just around the corner. Head to the charming market town of Marlborough to uncover a twice-weekly market and an array of antique shops and independent stores, as well as divine eateries such as seafood-led Rick Stein's, Mediterranean-inspired La Terrazza, and traditional 18th century Who'd a Thought It in Lockeridge, promising hearty pub classics in every season. Nature enthusiasts will adore seasonal colours on strolls through Savernake Forest, whilst in the spring months, West Woods promises a dreamy display of bluebells. A visit to Wiltshire isn't complete without travelling to the ancient burial site of West Kennet Long Barrow, plus the UNESCO World heritage sites of Stonehenge and Silbury Hill, the largest man-made hill in Europe. Take a walk on The Ridgeway; described as England's oldest road, situated less than 1 mile from Longstones.
