A daily menu which utilises the excellent wealth of local produce available each season within close proximity to the inn. The Victoria is child-friendly and offer a good, healthy children’s menu as well as smaller portions of some of our main menu dishes.
Appearances can be deceptive. From entering this ancient pub (parts are 12th century) you would be forgiven for assuming you’d walked into a nice old place most likely serving decent pub food. However, lurking in the kitchen is an exceedingly competent chef, trained by Raymond Blanc and Michael Caines, who creates simple, delicious cuisine based around the best local ingredients. Look closer and you’ll also see the bar is well stocked of good wines and fine local ales.
